All Stars Bus Service

Well, this thread will get some varied responses!

We stayed once and the buses were great. Granted, it was not very busy (November 2001) but we didn't have any problems.

There will be posters who have had problems though and I'm sure you will hear from them.

Good luck!

Bob

We stayed at ASMo in May 2001 and we only used the busses to get around. We didn't have any major problems. The busses seemed to run fairly frequently but they usually were pretty crowded and we ended up having to stand a lot. Overall I would say the All Stars have average bus service. :)

We've stayed at the All Star Sports 5 times and the buses have always run well. The All Stars have there own buses and don't stop at any other resorts. The bus usually stops at Sports first, then Music and then Movies. I don't know if the waits are longer for Music and Movies if the bus is full after stopping at Sports. But if I remember right, I think in the busier times there has been a CM who has been out front with radio communication to someone that they need more buses and to which parks. We have never waited very long, maybe 15 min. tops and thats if we just missed a bus. Depending on time of day and how busy will depend on if you stand or sit. Hope this helps :) .

Stayed at AllStarMu in early Dec '03 and the buses were terrific. Some of the best we've experienced at WDW.

I must agree with the above responses. We stayed at ASMo in May of 2002 and the bus service was great. It wasn't very crowded during the week, but the weekend it was packed and the service was still good.

We stayed at ASSP in October 2003 and found the buses to be pretty good. Most of the time, we had our own bus, but a couple times our bus went to ASMu after picking up at Sports. By then, the bus was full and all the people from Music had to stand. If you are concerned, I'd stay at Sports since they are the first to be picked up and dropped off if the resorts are sharing buses.

We stayed at Music this past Thanksgiving. As the crowds got larger as Thanksgiving got closer, more buses ran. There were a lot people waiting at the stops. Rather than standing on the bus, we let people get in front of us and told them we were going to wait on the next bus so we could sit. I didn't want my 7 year old daughter to have to try to stand up, and my parents were pooped at the end of the day too. Overall, they were good. Dare I say, I think they were better than the deluxe resort buses.....

We had bad bus service at Sports, but I've assumed it was a fluke since the boards always say it's good. We got to the stop at 7:40 for MK emh and actually got on a bus after 8:30. By that time, there were about 200 people in line, most of them behind us. Lots of buses for the other parks came while we were waiting, too. We, of course, missed emh and the people behind us in line were late for their breakfast ps.

I've always experienced good bus service at the all-stars - not as good as POP which I think is the best, but a good second place.

Hi !

We stayed at ASSP in June/July 2003 and the buses were great. We probably waited the longest 25-30 minutes for a bus. :moped:

I was at All Star Music this weekend and buses were plentiful for everyone but me. I had to wait for a second bus everytime but once. They are using mostly the Nova buses and that was my problem.

I stayed at ASMo in May 2004, I thought the bus service was great. We never really waited that long... my only complaint was the amount of time it took to get a bus back from AK and MK at the end of the night.
