All Star Vacation Homes/Oak Island Harbor

Ok, hubby is preferring us to stay in a little house off Disney Property, so I have been doing some homework. Ive found All Star Vacation Homes and found a 3 bdrm home that will hold 8 ppl (which it is starting to look like my daughters BF will prbly be coming with us also). So we need this space. They have a payment plan which I like too. I am just wondering before I go ahead and take the plunge if anyone has used their services and would you reccomend them and also what about the properties at Oak Island Harbor? See if I stay 7 nights or longer I can get a Free Rental Car for one week, which I am going to need to upgrade to a Mini-Van at least. Any thoughts?

Allstar are a respected property management company. Oak Island Harbor is in a nice location. I don't think there are any or many community amenities. It is an older community so you may have a mix of VRs and residents.

With a 3 bedroom home, you typically have 6 sleeping places in the bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. I always recommend not using the sleeper sofa if you can (for privacy and they are generally not the most comfortable things). If the home has the amenities that you want, then go for it.

Thanks KR, I think we will go with All Star then. Im not really worried about the amenities, it says that the home has a Pool of its own and it looks really nice and comfy and has more than enough space for our family so I think we will choose it.

We have used allstar before. Once for a 3 br condo and the other for a 7 br house right near the main office.
They make sure everything is perfect for your stay. They even have a traveling concierge that will drop by on your first day with stuff for the pool (toys). They definitely make sure there properties are up to your expectations.
Also the pics you see on the site are exactly what you will get. No generic pics.

We've used All Star many times and absolutely LOVE them. They are more expensive than renting direct from an owner but you have piece of mind. One of the homes we rented was a 5/6 BR in Oak Island Cove (a few blocks from OIH) and it was wonderful. You can even borrow DVDs on rainy days.

It's a private community so no gate or clubhouse but we found that we didn't really need them with the pool. And it's super easy to get to the park from that area.

The location is great. Close to the parks, lots of restaurants, mini golf, grocers and close to I4.
