If it were me and I was not on a dinning plan, I would just rent a car for the day. It would cost no more than $25. While you have the car you can eat offsite cheaply. You will save enough money eating offsite to pay for the rental car. That is what we do.


you can get a rental car onsite at either the Dolphin or the Disney Car Care center. Alamo has offices at both locations and they will pick you up at your resort and take you to the rental facility.

It's a long ways, but that is probably the cheapest.

For the record Disney does not allow any walking on their roadways. Security will stop you from doing this since there are no sidewalks, it's 10 miles to Walmart.

I didn't say it was the best way or even legal, just cheapest.

You might check the routes for the Lynx buses. I know it's only a cpl of bucks one-way to sea world. So that might be a pretty cheap way to go, if you aren't taking a bunch of people with you.

The Lynx bus is only $2, but it will take 5 to 6 hours, round trip. Totally not worth it.

A taxi will be around $50 round trip, plus tip. Uber will be around $30 to $40 round trip.

If you really want to go to the store yourself, a rental car is the best option. But if it were me, I would just get groceries delivered and be done with it.

Not quite that long.

Lynx 56 runs from TTC to Kissimmee WalMart in 38 minutes, every 30 minutes.

Add about 45 minutes average from an All-Star to TTC via MK, for a total trip time of about 1:40, and a round trip likely around 3 1/2 to 4 hours -- still a significant investment of time.
