All Star to Contemporary

I just got off the phone with CRO and booked 2 nights at All Star Sports before our stay at the Contemporary.
He said they have NO valet service at the value resorts and they will not transfer luggage to another resort.
I knew about the valet service, but I did not know they wouldn't transfer luggage to another WDW resort.
Does anyone know if this is true? Any experience with it?

I could have sworn someone recently posted that they split their stay between All Stars and a moderate and that the All Stars transferred their luggage within an hour! Check the boards.......

You can absolutely have your luggage transferred to another Disney resort from any of the All Stars. It's sad that CRO has CM's freely dispersing information that they don't have any knowledge about.

GoldenOldie.......I thought the same thing about the lack of info this CM had...I told him I was certain that luggage could be transferred from one WDW resort to another. I have done it before,but not from an AllStar. He kept insisting that you couldn't. There sure is a BIG difference between CM's, this just happened to be one of the arrogant ones.

I've been trying for weeks to get another night added to the beginning of our Contemporary stay with no avail, so I decided to book as AllStar for the first night.DH won't be with this trip, just 3 of the kids...so I made sure all our luggage had wheels .
We'll have 3 moves...AllStars,Contemporary and then WL. We're going for 14 days, so I thought splitting the stay wouldn't be too bad.
