I just booked with Disney All Stars ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo today ( I wanted All Stars Movies but there was no Florida resident rate rooms available). Any body every stayed at All Star Sports and have any advise they could share?
We've stayed at Pop Century and at French Quarters. My kids liked the value resorts better. The one thing that my kids loved about French Quarters was the transporation from the resort to Downtown Disney ( The resort had a little boat).
30 Days to our Disney :wizard: weekend get a way!!!! :sunny: :mickeybar

I just got back from there, and it was a pretty good place to stay. Here are a few tips:

1) The food court gets VERY VERY crowded, you may want to eat elsewhere
2) Certain buses come more often then others (usually the ones you arent looking for!), so you may want to hop on a less crowded one- go to the TTC and transfer there. Also it takes a while to get everywhere so leave plenty of time for transportation.
3) Rooms are pretty bare bones, bring you own shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer.

We were only in our rooms to sleep from about midnight-8 am. The pools looked ok, but we didn't use them. The gift shop is nice. Sports is also better then the Movies and Music since the buses go there first :). You can use the pools there as well if you wish. Have an Awesome time.

When I stayed at Pop century in june last year they provided shampoo and soap ( i always take my own anyway) I don't remember if Pop Century had blow dryers but French Quaters did, Pretty good one too!!! One thing I like about Disney's Pop Century and French Quarter is the in room safe. Does All Stars Sports also have in room safes?

Our family loves the All Star resorts the first ever place I stayed on property was All Star Sports. We are DVC members now but try to get back to one of the All Stars every trip it truly is our favourite onsite location followed closely by Coronado Springs.

You just bring your room towels to the pools. I would still bring shampoo since our dipenser didn't work that great.

my parents and sister are staying here while we are at Give Kids the World.
So I am looking for info on All Star Sports.
HairDyers?
Shampoo?
is it nice?
Clean?
Friendly?

And how does that new "baggage" thing work? Where they get your bags
to the hotel and you just go on the shuttle. I think that would be
awesome for them.

Also, when we do our shopping...can you have your packages sent back
to the hotel room?

thanks

15 days to go!!

I can't remember if when we stayed at Pop Century there was a hair dryer, but I know that French Quaters had hair dryers. They do have shampoo not conditioner. I think the resort is very clean and friendly (staff was nicer at Pop thn @ French Quarters). My husband and ny self took our own luggage so not sure how that works. You can have your souveinors taken back to your room but judt keep in mind that it takes about 24 hrs to be delivered. So don't wait untill the day before you are checking out to take advantage of the great service (beats carrying packages around the park).
Hope this info. helps.

I am actually going down in may and we are staying at the all star movies and then i am going down in July with a bunch of people and staying at the all star movies! It is clean and nice. It is perfect if you have kids that are into sports ..they will love the theming. The food courts can get croweded but they arent bad..We loved the pools and also the buses stop at the sports first so it is nice!...When we went last time which was alittle while agot he did have soap and shampoos but i do not know now...i always bring my own anyway!...You will love it i'm sure...I do not know about the baggae thing b/c we are driving down!...well have fun! :cool1: ::MickeyMo

No Hair Dryers
Shampoo was kinda gross looking, in an old dispenser, I brought my own
Its a motel basically, 2 beds, table, tv, shower/tub, sink. It was good for sleeping.
It was clean in our room, the tub was a little old looking thats about it. Bathroom lock didn't work.
I didn't really talk to ne1 working there to be honest! All the bus people were really friendly tho :)

Just don't expect a lot from here and you'll be fine- if you expect it to be a beautiful resort you'll be disppointed.
