We received a letter saying that one of the pools will be closed during our stay in 3 weeks. I also read that they are redoing something in the food area. Has anyone visited recently, and if so what is open/closed? Thanks and have a nice day!!

I was there August 11-18 and as far as I kinow the Food Court is not going through any kind of refurbishment.All rooms are undergoing a refurbishment however.Home Run Hotel is the only section that has been completed and they are now working on Touchdown!.Keep in mind that you can use the pools at Music and Movies as well during your stay.

Disney All Star Sports - Surfboard Pool and Kiddie Pool closed for refurbishment from 8/27 - 10/04. The Grand Slam pool will remain open and guests can also use the pool at the two other All Star Resorts

Didn't see anything about the food court being renovated, though.

First of all, thank you all for your help!! I really don't remember where I saw it. Maybe it was something old. As you can see, we have visited Disney quite a few times. This trip is the one we have planned so much. We have the free meal plan and thus, have to reserve and plan so much!! It was quite a bit of work trying to get reservations and we couldn't even get many we wanted. I made reservations in June, too. Anyone know where, what section, is best for closeness to the bus stop and main building? Thanks again for all the help!!

that say - home run is almost next to music. so if the food court is being worked on - music food court is very close to home run section.

Surf"s Up is closest to Stadium Hall,but it is the preferred building and carries a $12.00 plus tax per night surcharge.Touchdown! is the next closest.I usually stay in Surf's Up,but on my August trip I stayed in Home Run Hotel and really enjoyed the convenience of using either Sports' or Music's pools,buses,food courts,etc.
