Which rooms have the least walking to the buses and food? I see preferred or standard on their site. 2 adults so we dont care about the pool r anything kiddie. I just cant walk far. Looking for in november even tho that makes no difference

Food court and buses are both located at Stadium Hall. You will want a preferred room location if you want to be near it.

They're closer than the standard rooms.

Disney really makes it pretty easy. In all cases Preferred rooms are closer to things like transportation and lobbies, which is why they are Preferred. This goes for all resorts. Because as rooms go, the rooms are all the same. Their closeness is what makes the Preferred.

We were in building 10 ground floor facing the football field and we steps away from Stadium Hall. I did on line check in and chose ground floor near transportation and that is what we got.

That would have been the Touchdown section (buildings #7 & 10). It's a preferred room location.

Then, make ground floor your only room request. If this is a case of a mobility problem that would make it difficult to evacuate the building from an upper floor using the stairs (elevators would not work in the event of a fire), then have it noted on your reservation that a ground floor is more than just a preference.

Surf's Up! and Touchdown! are the 2 Preferred scetions.

I would request "Surf's Up!/Building 6/CLOSE TO STADIUM HALL".

Another option would be "Touchdown!/Building 10/Side facing away from the Football Field"-from that location it is only a 1-2 minute walk to the Bus Stops by walking alongside the "back" of Building 10.

The thing about the Preferred buildings is that the "outemost Preferred rooms" are only steps closer to Stadium Hall that the "innermost Standard Rooms"
