All Star Sports - Refurb - What to do???

Found this today!!!

All-Star Sports’ End Zone Food Court (All Start Sports Resort) closed for refurbishment from 8/3/13-12/20/13. There will be no hot/made-to-order food available at the resort. There will be “grab and go” (cold, premade) food items available at the Game Point Arcade, which will not be an arcade during the refurbishment. For hot food and/or access to arcades, buses will be offered to All-Star Music and All-Star Movies.

We are scheduled to come in for our week long trip on 8/3 and I just got this message!!! I have stayed there may times but with a 2 year old hot food is what we will need. Should we stay and walk over to the other hotels or move to another hotel all together????

The hot foods not great anyway, and the other all stars are nearby. Can you get a room there?

I know the food isn't great but just the hassle of not having a food court in summer worries me. We have decided to move over to POP.

I agree...I would move! We have two little ones, and they like to have a warm breakfast to start the day.

Good choice moving to Pop. I am thinking the other All Star food courts will be crazy during the refurb with Sports guests eating there instead....

I think you'll be fine and you could definitely walk to another all star for food they are very close together. And you could move to different all star as well to me they are all so,e of my favorite disney resorts. The all stars are so well themed and you just have a great experience.
