Looking for advice! Although we've been to WDW several times, this will be our 1st time staying at ASM. We're staying in a Family Suite (3 kids, 1 infant).
Please share your infinite wisdom with me! What do the rooms include? Must-do's at the resort? What to avoid?
Thanks!!

My husband and i have taken my mom and siblings twice and stayed in the family suites at Music. We totallly loved it! The rooms were always really close to the main pool, laundry rooms, main building with the resturan, shop, arcade, and bus station.

I loved the convenience of two full bathrooms and the kitchenette.

The main bedroom has chest of drawers, tv and table.
living room has sleeper sofa and sleeper chair, tv, chest of drawers, and table and chairs

Kitchenette had a microwave, minifridge, sink and coffee maker. Housekeeping replaced paper plates cups and plastic utensils daily as needed.

Be sure to catch an evening movie in the pool. What a fun experience!!!

Have a wonderful trip

Thank you so much! We'll be traveling with 4 children, so I'm trying to get my mind organized for sleeping arrangements. 2 bathrooms is definitely a plus!

My mom and sister slept in the bedroom. The sleeper sofa was big enoughfor my 6 foot husband and my pooh sized self so two kids would fit fine! The sleeper chair is twin sized so maybe two smaller kids will fit. If you have an infant there is room for a pack and play in the bedroom.

We did ASM family suite on our first trip with the kids and really enjoyed the room! We put the kids in the bedroom so that at night we could shut the door and make bed time feel more like bed time. My husband and I stayed on the pull out couch in the living area and it was nice to have adult time at night without worrying about tip toeing around sleeping kids. Having 2 bathrooms was also a huge plus. We didn't use the kitchenette much as we were on the deluxe dining plan but there is a microwave and mini fridge.

The room we got was in the building closest to the main building where the food court and bus stop are so that was really convenient. The pool was also right outside our door. The main pool is nice and there is also a little warm pool which you can wade into steps away from the main pool. We liked going back and forth. We didn't do a movie under the stars but they offer those every night. The food court there has just been remodeled I believe.

One caution is that tour groups love the All Stars and there were tons of them there while we were there. They would crowd the buses and food court. We were there in the summer though so it could have been the time of year. We also found being so close to the main pool was good and bad. Bad because at night people stayed up late swimming and it could be pretty noisy since it was right outside our door.

Have fun!
