I can't believe I am asking a question about The All Stars lol, but my family has never stayed in the suites before :confused3. This will be the first trip we will either reserve a suite or two separate rooms since my sister and I are older adults now.

My question is, is there a door separating the main bedroom area from the living room area in the suite? The diagrams I found online indicate there is a door, but all the videos I see on YouTube move the camera too quickly for me to fully see a door separating the two rooms.

Thanks everyone! :thumbsup2

Yes the bedroom is private from the living room. We stayed there as four adults a few years ago and thought it was nice. The two bathrooms were great! The kitchenette was helpful!

How comfortable was the pull out couch for adults?

It was not comfortable. We felt the bars dig in no matter what position. We tried to sleep for an hour. Ended up calling and they delivered a mattress. Worked fine that way. Took up a lot of room though.

I've slept on one and thought it was fine. Maybe it depends on the age of the mattress on it. They are designed with as few bars as possible, for the most part it is straps running under the mattress part. I did have a hard time rolling out of bed because of the frame.

I just came here wondering about the comfort of the foldouts! We are a family of 5...so DH and I will sleep in the "real" bed and my daughters, ages 15, 13, and 7 will all be on foldouts. I'm kind of annoyed with my travel agent, because she waited until after we had already booked ASMusic for this September (with free dining), to mention that we might prefer connecting rooms in Pop. We tried to move, but we missed out on availability.

I'm hoping to hear some opinions of the ASMusic suites that will make me feel good about where we are!!!

Just be aware that 2 connecting or adjoining rooms at Pop or any resort is never guaranteed, it's just a request that you might or might not get. The ASM Suite at least guarantees that you are all together.

Which is the #1 reason the Ft. Wlderness cabins and Family Suites are normally more expensive than 2 standard rooms. You're paying a premium to guarantee all being together.

We stayed there over marathon/New Year's week and liked it way more than we thought we would. The separate bedroom is awesome. My kids are 14, 12 and 9 and they loved having their own beds and not having to share. The two bathrooms were so nice. I also really liked having the little galley kitchen where you could actually wash mugs and popcorn buckets (not in the bathroom sinks). It felt spacious and I was very happy that we had decided to book it. My travel agent at one point said they were "shabby and showing age," but I did not notice that and the space worked perfectly for us. It was a lot better than hearing my two teen/tween daughters complaining about each one stealing the other one's covers.

ETA: They are a great location, too (close to the main building and transportation), so you don't have to worry about paying for a preferred location. My kids loved being able to go and fill their mugs so easily.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear! Your families ages are very close to ours, so I'm very glad to hear your review! :)

Yes, we are Disney vets and are aware, thank you though.

Fortunately we are all grown adults and could care less how close we are. Ideally, we would like adjoining rooms, but we do not require it. We are also on a budget, but interesting explanation.

Keep in mind that to Disney, "adjoining rooms" are room near each other. That is all. If you want rooms that have the inside door between them, you need to request "connecting rooms".

Update: We ended up purchasing 2 preferred rooms at Pop. As my timeline indicates, this will be my first trip ever not staying at an All Star and I am excited. We requested connected rooms, but understand it isn't guaranteed. Thanks for your help everyone!

Thank you! I had no idea! I will be sure to specify connecting, but then again it is not an absolute requirement since we are all grown adults.
