All Star Music Resort

We have reservations for All Star Music, were wondering if anyone has stayed at the Pop Century, (where we recently stayed), and can compare the two. We really enjoyed everything about the Pop Century and would like to know if we will have the same experience at the All Star Music.

My dd and I stayed at AllStarMusic last Dec. I was prepared to not be too crazy about it. I mean, we had stayed at mods and deluxes in the past. But, this was a last minute trip. So, how bad could it be? We loved it. In fact, dd liked it more than the Polynesian!! We were in the Jazz bldg, on the third floor, facing the back area,away from the pool!! It was incredibly quiet. One of the quietest stays we've had yet. It was a pretty quick walk to the food court and buses. As far as the food court goes, we liked it better than the one at POR. We do tend to eat at off times (really early for breakfast and mid-afternoon for lunch). We didn't hit huge crowds at the times we ate.
The bus service was quite good. Better than at BWVs!!! But, I guess we all know that by now. I had towel animals for the first time. Mousekeeping was very good. Check-in was quick. I found the CMs to be wonderfully helpful...more so than at the Polynesian. They really seemed to care if I had a good visit. Even the baggage people were nice!! We will be staying there again when not using our points.

I have stayed at ASMusic (and will be there again in Nov.) and have toured Pop Century. I personally prefer the decor at PC slightly over ASMu. We stayed in the Jazz bldg in June 2003. There were just a couple of minor (and, I certainly hope, isolated) mousekeeping problems. We were close to the main bldg and bus stops, and VERY close to the "Ariel" pool. Our kids really moved ASMu and are happy we are staying there again. They said they like it better than POR (where we stayed on another trip ). I remember that we had great bus service from ASMu, and that CMs were more friendly and cordial that at certain oter resorts we have stayed at. Hope this helps... have a great time

Just stayed at ASMu last weekend. We have stayed in the Jazz bldg. which was close to the big pool the bus stops and front desk. Last weekend we stayed at the Rock bldg. which is a little bit away from the front desk and bus stops but right outside the piano pool.
We have enjoyed both of our stays at this resort.
