We were there 10/20-26th. Stayed in one of the Jazz buildings, first floor, facing the fountain. We had 2 connecting rooms (we lucked out, and got one room with a King bed!). We didn't notice much noise from people walking by, although the "turbo toilets" were pretty loud. We had a great location: right between the two pools, and less than a 5 minute walk to the food court.
Bus service was good. Only once did we wait more than 10 minutes (one early evening, coming back from MGM).
We ate several meals at the food court (lunch and supper; can't comment on breakfast). The food was very good, and fresh, although the choices were somewhat limited. They offered the basics: pizza, pasta, burgers, chicken, some mexican dishes.
There were lots of activities going on for the kids, from 3:00-ish until the movie at 8:30 p.m. My girls participated in the dance-alongs, and hula-hoop contests. We were entertained one rainy evening in the food court, with a Disney karaoke contest. The staff in charge of these events were very enthusiastic, and good with the kids.
We would definitely stay here again! We stayed at POP last October, which we really enjoyed. However, I liked the overall ambience of ASMu better. It was quieter, and the color schemes were more toned down (not as neon as POP). My girls (12 year old twins, and a 10 year old) loved all of the activities going on, and had a blast in the pools! I think the bus service was comparable at both POP and ASMu.
Let me know if you have any questions!
