All-Star Music Family Suites Question

I know that the family suites are rarely eligible for a room discount. Does anyone know if they are included in the offers for free dining? Are there any other ways to save if booking one of these?

Or is there anyway that Disney would guarantee connecting rooms?

Basically, no. Connecting rooms are never guaranteed.

There are fewer discounts on the Family Suites, but they do happen. I don't think they were explicitly excluded from Free Dining, just very limited availability. They would only qualify for Quick Service under FD.

I think time of year may matter too? We stayed in a family suite at ASMu Jan 2015 and it was discounted from it's rack rate (don't quote me but I think it was 10 or 15%?).

You can also try booking 3rd party and using one of their discount codes (like Cheaptickets, Expedia, Orbitz, etc). I can usually find a code by a quick google search.

ETA: I just did a search through Disney's site and for a random week in Jan, the suites are discounted approx 12% from "standard rate"

That's what I thought and we definitely need two rooms that connect due to medical issues. QS would be fine, we could just pay out of pocket for TS, but it would help save a little.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will definitely look into those avenues. We are looking at the first week of November 2017.

The All Star suites are always included in the discounts, the suites that are not included are the ones at the Deluxe resorts. They are always included in Free Dining as well. Since Art of Animation opened, the All-Star Suites are less in demand, so are usually available.
