Hi everyone,
Just about to book our Christmas Disney holiday and we're torn between the Coronado Springs or the All-Star Movies Resort. Two years ago we stayed at the Caribbean Beach which we loved and because Coronado Springs looks similar we thought we'd try All-Star Movies but..... what is the bus system like? At the Caribbean Beach the buses arrived roughly every ten minutes and as we were the first stop we always had a seat and there was rarely anyone standing. Can anyone give me a little insight into how the bus system works at All-Star Movies? Do you share with other hotels? Do you have long waits at Christmas? Any info would be much appreciated.
Thank you.:cool1:

I stayed at the Allstar Music this past December and I was disappointed by the bus service this stay (its was my third stay).
Generally going to the parks during the slower times of the day the Sports, Music and Movies shared buses. Being at the Music, we generally were able to get a seat.
Leaving the parks at night was hit and miss. The MK was okay because there was a bus stop for each of the Allstars and there were separate bus stops at Epcot when the park closed, but not during the day. The AK and MGM...whoops Hollywood Studios did not have separate bus stops and leaving those parks when they closed was a mess.
The bus route was the Sports first, then Music and then Movies.

I can tell you one thing.. in my experience... the bus service at CSR is top notch.

As with everything, your mileage may vary. :)

Hi Helen K and Canadian Guy

Thank you both so much for the replies. Caribbean Beach was perfect for the buses so probably the same experience you had at CSR Canadian Guy. I just don't want to be disappointed with the buses at All Star Movies. My expectation levels are high after having such a good service and I do remember seeing huge queues when leaving the parks for some of the hotels but couldn't remember which ones.
Thanks again

We were there this past December 28-January 6 at all star movies. Now, I love disney transportation, but never again will I stay at the movies during a busy time and rely on the bus system. It was horrible. We never waited LESS than 20 minutes for a bus.
