All Star Movies: preferred view?

Hi everyone! We are currently booked at ASM for october and. the only thing available was preferred view. I'm wondering what this means, does this mean any room in the fantasia buildings or does it mean we will have a room with pool view?

This means any room in either Fantasia building...(5 or 8). You are not guaranteed a pool view, just closer to everything.

We had a prefered room during our stay at ASMo in January. We loved being so close to the bus stop and food court. We did have a pool view but you could be anywhere in the two buildings. One however in smoking and one is non smoking.

Jordan's MOM: Do you remember which building was smoking and which building was non-smoking. We are staying at All Star Movies for two nights in December before moving over to the Beach Club. We requested a non-smoking room and hope to be in building 5 (the building with the Scorcer's Hat)

there was a change at some point as to which is which. I am not sure if it was before or after our January visit. We were in building 8 which was to be non-smoking. We smelled no smoke and there was no ash try etc. so I assume that this was the offical non-smoking building at this time. Building 8 is the closer building and faces the pool. The better choice in my opinion.
