We are going in December and keep debating between the 2. Can someone help me make a decision? Also, my dad may or may not go should we book for 3 plus 1 child or wait until closer to time? I am trying to make the reservations before the rates go up.

We love POP. Once, we decided to give Movies a try...never again. We missed the POP food court, and it just didn't have that Disney feel to us. It's not bad at, but for about the same money, I would go POP.

Thanks! Anyone else? We are leaning more towards POP but my ds loves Toy Story so I was thinking about ASMO too.

I have never stayed at Pop, but I did stay at Movies and the busing was horrible. The All Star Resorts all share a bus and Movies is the last pick up and last drop off which means, buses are always full by the time they get to you and it takes forever to get back to your room at the end of a long day. Pop has their own buses.
Also you could just take him over to Movies one day to see the giant Toy Story figures, we had a Toy Story room before the refurb was done and really it was nothing special.

Thanks. I was wondering if they were like the AOA rooms or not. So I guess we will be staying at POP. I think my ds will like the pools and pop jet play area there too.

Never been to Pop, but love ASMovies! We've never had an issue with the buses that I can remember other than they can get crowded, but all of the buses from all the resorts can get crowded. If you have a DS who loves Toy Story I wouldn't think twice!

Like ASMo but hated POP. And make sure the water jet area works- when we went they haven't been working for a long time. POP is so chaotic.

I have stayed at both Pop and Music. I'm not sure there's much of a difference between music and movies, but we loved music. The pop buses were very crowded. Many times we had to wait for multiple buses to arrive at the stops before we were able to get on. Also our room at Pop was very far from everything. If you decide to go with pop ask for a preferred room. They're not much more a night and you can be close to the bus and food court.
