How is this resort for food selection? Their cafeteria looks to have very limited options compared to AoA, the moderates etc..., with no children's menu available, or even things like bagels & cream cheese, muffins etc... available at breakfast. Can anyone confirm this?

How did you find the food quality/selection? Which value or moderate resorts have the best food in your opinion?

Realistically we'll be eating all our breakfasts at the resort, as well as probably a couple other meals (lunch/supper etc). We don't need fancy, fine dining, but it would be nice to have a children's menu available, as well as good quality food, with decent selection.

It probably isn't as varied as AoA, but we haven't had any problems there, especially for breakfast. I'm not sure what menu you saw, but the one on allears shows a kids' breakfast platter, kids' french toast platter, kids' mickey waffle platter, kids' pancakes with bacon and fruit, and there are bagels and cream cheese and muffins listed under pastries. That is in line with what we found when we stayed at any of the AS resorts. The children's menu is near the bottom of the list.

We have also had dinner at the AS many times, and it was always fine.

Thanks! I was looking at the menu on the actual WDW website. Maybe it's just a glitch.

At every resort we have stayed at (all values except AoA, CBR, CSR), all of the stations in the food court have a children's menu for every meal. Some were more varied than others, but they all had them. I would agree that it is either a glitch or maybe they just don't list children's menus? I didn't even realize they listed menus on the WDW site.

Just wanted to mention that the rumored restaurant proposed to be built between Movies and Music is looking more and more likely, though not anytime soon.:)

I didn't even know there was one! So not by November 28th, eh? Lol
