The WDW website recommends that I get ADRs. When I tried, the rep said it was walk up only. Can some one tell me if they made ADRs, or walked up?

Must be a typo, they do not take ADR's, you basically wait in line (just like ESPN). In fact, I am going All-Stars Café tonight.........

Tried making ADR's there too, was told I couldn't, to just show up.

We had ADRs (well, at that time they were PSes!) for a dinner in Dec 2004. We wanted to see OSU in the Alamo Bowl and didn't want to risk not getting a seat at ESPN Club.

I have to say, JMHO, that in all the years and all the restaurants that we have eaten at at WDW, All Star Cafe was BY FAR the WORST! I know others will disagree and I'm glad some like it, but EWWWWW!!!

My tomato soup was cold and the rest of our food was disgusting. :sad2: The game started at 8 but the kitchen closed at 9 and they really rushed us out of there. I thought this was a sports bar??? :confused3 We left at halftime and watched the rest of the game at the bar at the Hippy Dippy pool at Pop!

I hope your experience is better than ours was - have a good time!

I have an ADR for August 25 at 5:30. I hope this isn't a new policy and I don't have my ADR's anymore. I will be checking my ADR's in a week or so so Iwill know more then

LOL, I am replying to myself, now that's CrAzY! :rotfl2:

OK, last night we first went to Planet Hollywood, arrived about 6:30-ish, was told there would be an hour wait (no ADR's) and our party of 11 would not be seated together......
So instead we drove over to the All-Star Café (at Disney's Wide World of Sports). My visiting cousin had never been on that property and he was happy to see the baseball stadium and learn a little about the facility.
We waited about 15 minutes! Seated at one table! It was not too busy at the restaurant, but there place was abuzz with some sort of High School Basketball Tournament going on at the Milk Arena, parking lot was very busy and full. Lots of TALL youths.......
Like I said we were a part of 11, 9 adults, 2 children. Typical bar food, Burgers, sandwiches, wings.....
Including 2 pitchers of Yuengling Beer our bill was 160.31 plus 18% Grat (large party) $188.19 (less than $20 pp)
We also played NTN Trivia while we ate, and had a really great time.
