for getting DH to agree to another trip this year.
Would have to be Oct half term I think.....but he just states (quite correctly) that we weren't even supposed to be having one Disney holiday this year.
Hmm, what can I sell on EBay?

you could sell DH!!

any outgrown children's clothes, anything you or DH don't wear any more.

anything Disney does seem to go well - so any souvenirs that you no longer want?

Have a spring clean and see what you can find.

OK I'm praying. Wonder if there's any way to find out if it's in the offing?

Watch out for cheap flight deals and tell him it is too good an offer to miss ;)

Haven't good anymore SENSIBLE ideas ;) :rotfl:

Deffo would recommend finding stuff to sell on Ebay.
Ebay has paid for my trip in Jan and my day trip next week and half of my trip in September and that was from selling DD's old clothes and toys she doesnt play with anymore.

yes - and then give us a link to all your old goodies ;)

hrmmm....ways to make money...there's really not that many, are there?

keep an eye out for cheap flight and hotel deals...women always get their own way - fact!

Wonder how much he'd go for? :lmao:
I could probably sell half the things the children bought with their spending money (from relations, not us!) this February without them noticing!

Sadly flight deals definitely won't convince him - he's been on 2 Fear of Flying courses and is still terrified.
OK, any ideas considered, sensible or otherwise!!

Wow, you did well! My sister has just told me she's pregnant though, and they have no money at all so I want to save stuff for her.
Sorry, you guys are giving lots of good ideas, don't mean to sound negative!
I'm sure I can find some things to sell.

How about going without your husband or the kids?

That would be cheaper.

And, if you can find a girlfriend to go with, split the costs with her instead (then it is waaaaayyyyyyy cheaper)

How do you think I'm able to travel so much :rolleyes1

Now there's an idea! :lmao:
I've never left the children though, except my son when I was in hospital having my daughter, and they would be heartbroken to know I was going to DLRP without them. Pathetic aren't I?
It's all or none of us but there has to be a way!

Although it is in order to post up an auction of DLP goodies that we may all think would be of interest to others. It is against the DISboard rules to post up links; or include a link in your signature, to your own auction as this is deemed as a for sale post.
Mentioning your ebay id in Mousecellaneous is entirely possible ;)

I wouldn't even need to mention it, since both IDs are the same for EBay and here - I don't have enough brain cells post-small-children to remember 2 IDs!
Don't think I'd have enough DLP goodies to tempt you experts though! :goodvibes

Do you have many Tesco Vouchers ?

You could sell them on Ebay or transfer them into days out deals or restaurant deals and sell them that way. Lots of people do. :)

Now that might well be a very good idea, since it doesn't look as if I can use them for accomodation. I have quite a few, so I'd save some for Eurotunnel.

I have been looking on ebay and you are getting approx double the money for your Tesco vouchers :goodvibes

I believe Tescos are changing things around now and you won't be able to use other people's vouchers anymore, but presumably you'd still be able to use Deals tokens since they don't specify anyone's name.

I have bought a Money Box - one of those you can't open but with a can opener - and put in a euro every day - more if i can - and sometimes notes.
We will open it shortly before our trip in Ocotber - the one i still have to book LOL

Also a good idea! My DH can't bear to carry any change around and it's amazing how that adds up! Although I do use it for car parks and stuff like that...
