All Seas Travel?

Don't know smlev ;)
For the most part ONE of them will save you money over DCL unless you are booking at the last minute and then perhaps the savings would be negligble or none.

The conditions for a heavily discounted date from either agency are fairly simple. The savings are, for the most part, created with reserved space. If the sailings you're looking for have increased in price since the agency booked the rates, the savings will be evident. smlev, it may be possible this date has not sold as well todate and therefore has not increased in price w/Disney since either agency held space. You should call the agencies and explain the situation.

With that said, even if you are not saving money, it's been my experience with agencies that the benefits of sailing with a group- even if the price is the same - are worth it. Most of us think in terms of saving- reduced cost- what we don't think about is ADDED value. Gifts in the stateroom, perhaps special events exclusive to your agencies customers, etc. They might not be able to save you $50, but they CAN make your vacation $50 better!

Plus, there are many benefits to going with an agency which specializes in the cruise you're looking for. Getting the dining times you're looking for, help with stateroom assignments, etc. You'll get far more with them in your corner than without.

I had a reservation with DU and recently switched to All Seasons Travel because the price was 500.00 less. I've used DU several times for hotel reservations and have been satisfied but All Seasons was able to save me quite a bit of money. Everyone I've spoken with at All Seasons has been fabulous!

The folks at All Seasons Travel have had nothing but great things to say about Dreams Unlimited and agreed healthy competition benefits the consumers and enhances services.

Count me in as a member of the All Seasons and Sandie Clifford fan club. I have had a wild ride getting to my first Disney cruise this Thursday and Sandie has been there without delay or complaint through all of my questions (thousands!!).

The Fla Resident rate quotes from All Seas for our cabins for this cruise were the best that I found anywhere on the Web. They assisted me with my daring Friday morning flight to Nassau to meet my family at the boat and have almost convinced me that it is all going to work out.....any spare prayers are still appreciated.

It appears that Janice is a small town southern girl who was raised right and I have found that their company runs with that kind of hospitality and grace as a priority.

Do you mind if I asked how you switched travel agents? I am pretty upset as we agreed to a quoted rate for our cruise and today when I received the reservation confirmation, the price was several hundred $$ higher. The deposit has been charged to our CC and we have 2 great rooms reserved. I'm not sure what to do. If I cancel, then I would think the rooms would be up for grabs again and someone would snag them before a new agent could go in and reserve them for me. Could I just transfer my current reservation to a new travel agency? I really wanted to travel as part of the *group* I am booked with... I'm so sad about this mess!!! DH does not want to pay more than the original quote which the agent said was an error on Disney's part.

But if you switch your ressie, you will still be paying the same price if DCL made an error. (If not more, depending on when you booked, if the price went up)

That's true, Mjasp... If I switch, I might end up paying around the same with another agent as we are now being *charged*. It's just disappointing that we were quoted one thing and then I happened to notice on my own that the stateroom totals reflected in our confirmation were more than I was quoted. I just wish this travel agent would have caught it and contacted me before moving forward and charging the deposit... for our family, that deposit is some mega bucks!

I agree with you that you should have been notified of the different price, wonder if they figured you night not have noticed.

Yes your deposit is big bucks. Hope it all works out and you have a great cruise.

Do you mind if I asked how you switched travel agents?

I am in a room very close to my previous ressie and booked for earlier seating so I was thrilled with my switch however I do not think I could have maintained the same room etc by switching. Perhaps I was misleading?

My original reservation was for second seating waitlisted for first and on Deck 9 - 2072 and now I'm first seating Deck 9 2080 I believe.

I would check with your TA and ask about the price difference. I had to cancel one ressie and secure another. My credit card will receive a refund for 750 and charged 750 this month.

Hope this helps!
