All resorts have a fire pit?

When we were at Kidani last month, the CM out back stationed by the animals mentioned that due to popularity with the guests, that all the DVC resorts now had firepits for evening marshmallow roasting. Is this true? We own at BLT and don't remember seeing one back in 2012...but if so, looks like I'll be adding smores making stuff to our future packing list! If it's not ALL resorts, which ones do?

I couldn't tell you the locations at each resort but yes, it appears to be true.

At SSR the fire pit is on ground level near the spa. Sort of behind the bicycle rental window and the Community Hall.

At Old Key West it's east of the pool around the sand volleyball court.

We haven't been to OKW recently, but we were at SSR in 2013 and never noticed the fire pit. I'm not sure I would notice though during the day. Were there a lot of people by the pit at either resort you saw them at?

It's not really an activity that draws a crowd. Based upon my visits, it's not a whole campfire experience comparable to resorts like Vero and Hilton Head. You don't gather for an hour, laughing and singing songs.

When we've done the campfires at WDW, it's been a brief walk-up experience. Cast members pass out marshmallows and utensils. We spend 10 minutes toasting a marshmallow or two and then proceed on our way.

Usually there aren't more than a dozen people there at a time. People come and people go.

Maybe it's different with other resorts or other CMs running the event but that's what we experienced.

There seemed to be a fire pit at BLT when I was there last summer, it was past the pool bar, almost on Bay Lake. (We took some pictures in that alcove, but I dont have any pictures of the fire pit)
I never saw if it was used in the evening.

At BLT/CR I thought they moved the firepit to the little beach crescent between BLT and the CR pool locker rooms/Sammy Duvall rental buildings. At least that's where it was the last time I stayed there. When it first opened there was some sort of firepit on the beach area just outside the BLT pool area but I thought they had switched from that.

At VWL it's on the beach behind Trout Pass - or at least it was until the construction started so there may be a temporary locaton.

BCV - on crescent lake beach.

Jambo and Kidani - savanna overlooks.

Those are the one's I've noticed.

Unlike the big fire pits that burn all evening long at AK Kidani & Jambo where I have enjoyed sitting around the fire talking with other guests, at the beach club I have only seen the small camp fires on the beach they light once or twice a week for a short time before or after the movie (maybe it was nights other than the movie). In any case I have seen fires at BC but nothing like AK.

Disney's Aulani Resort has a beachside fire pit. There's storytelling several times each night.
