Or at least that's what they keep telling me. We have ressies for Pop Century on those dates, and were wanting to change over to a moderate or deluxe possibly. I've been calling every morning for a week to check availability and keep being told that there are NO ROOMS at all available at ANY of the moderate or deluxe resorts for those dates. Hard to believe. They told me the last couple of days are the problem, that it's because the Food and Wine Fest starts on the 30th, as well as the MNSSHP first night being the 30th, and people are coming in for those two things. Plus, I guess the Free dining pkg was very, very popular.

Sounds right to me, sorry to say. I am staying a value resort and tried to get a Mod. or Deluxe during that time in June and was told they were sold out! We are going on the Dining Package and that's what they told me way back then. With all the other stuff going on, I can see how it would be sold out. I do have 1 bit of advice though. For reservations made and not paid for in full, the entire package needs to be paid in full 45 days before arrival. So, on the morning or afternoon of the 45th day out that you are looking for, call all day. I am sure there are a lot of people that may change their mind and cancel their reservation. Hope that helps, good luck!!

I tried to ger ressies for PO-R Dec 8-11 and was told the same thing. Seems strange that the MODs would be sold out during Disney's Value Seasons. Come to think of it, I've never heard of any of the resorts being completely sold out at any time.

I think they are sold out only for the free food offer. When I check on the Disney Website, most of the resorts show rack availability for that week.

We are going in that time frame too... Got me worried so I checked Disneys website and it showed availability for those dates for every Disney resort.

Are those of you who can't find availability on the dining plan? Is it just the rooms that are available for the dining plan packages that are sold out and not the resorts as a whole?

I just checked a few resorts and they all showed availability for that time frame

Yes, we are on the free dining plan package deal...maybe that is why.

I bet that is it. I thought I would check those dates online and there was a lot of availability for room only reservations and the dining plan package that has the daily fee.

I am thinking of going around those dates, and the AP website shows great rates and availability all over! Really temps me ..........! :teeth:

I keep reading threads about no availablity during the week of 9-24 - 10/1 and I freak out every time. It's good to know it's just the free dining that's sold out. We go this time of year to avoid large crowds.
