Thank you. I appreciate the compliment. The situation really called for a multiple-exposure HDR, but I did not do it that way, unfortunately. I plan to try a little Topaz Adjust in the near future, to see if I can improve on it that way.

Well, I don't know anything about the Nikon, but my Dad has a Canon G9 and he absolutely loves it! It is a great camera.

Just for the record the D5000 is not a replacement for the D90. Click on the links to find more info on each camera. Both are great cameras. You can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks for the advice, guys! And sorry, Evad, I didn't realize that. I'm not a camera expert... but I'm learning. He went with the Nikon D5000... we both liked that there were more options. My sister's boyfriend has an SLR and he was the final sell. We just got back from Best Buy a little lighter in the wallet.

Congrats on new purchase and welcome to the Nikon family. You will love the D5000. Other then the fact that there is no focus motor in the body of the D5000, it's specs are nearly identical to the D90. Have fun and we will expect to see some pics over on the photography board!!!!
