My question on the birthday party....who's birthday was it? Petey did made a remark about "age appropriate" entertainment when he walked in.

I was only half-watching the show so I can't give too much detail. Greenlee did tell off her mother.

Just saw parts again tonight --

Greenlee's mother said all kinds of terrible things to Greenlee about how her (Greenlee) being loving and enjoying her job are just an act and that she's really just an empty person who will be alone. This helped Greenlee and Kendall to bond over their wicked mothers. Greenlee calls Carlos to apologize.

The private eye working for Chris gave him info that showed Erica and Jackson are having an affair. Chris went off to confront Jackson at his office. Meanwhile, Erica had gone to Jackson to get legal advice regarding Michael. This led to a confrontation and finally Erica admitting that she totally loves Jackson and they kissed....show ended with Chris walking in the door of the office.

Liza also told Tad that she wants him as a friend but doesn't want to rekindle their romance. Laurie's father also came to her to help get his job back from Adam.

I hope that fills in some blanks.

I am finally caught up, so I can read this thread again. Well as caught up as I can be, with my show being interrupted almost daily for news stories.

I remember Jake being Joey, and love that they actually acknowledged it. I never understood where he got Jake from anyway.

Can someone clue me in on what Michael is really up to??? I have missed so much with all the news briefs, and working, I'm confused. A cliff notes version of Michael and Lena's grand plan would be very helpful!!!

During the latest discussion between Lena and Michael they said the real goal of getting Enchantment is to get the formula that Boyd has in his head. They are also thinking of some way that they can get Kendall to get the formula from Boyd if Lena can't seduce him. There is also some other subplot about Chris Stamp and Michael's father have a run-in in the past that Michael wants to avenge.

I don't think that there is an "AMC" at all, today, because of "GH's" 40th anniversary special episode.

Thanks so much for the updates from SoapNet, Pam! Definitely helped to fill in the blanks! I wonder if they will show an AMC on SoapNet tonight? Or whether they will pick up with the next episode, tomorrow (I hope so!)! The interruptions are pretty frustrating, I agree, Pembo!

I was very sad to read about Lynne Thigpen, Sarge. I always liked her as Aunt Grace (remember when she dressed up as the Fairy Godmother and sang "Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo" to Hoolia, before her wedding to Noah? ), and I remember when she won a Tony Award, a few years ago, too. Glad that we can still see her in an upcoming film, Faith!

Read in this week's TV Guide that there will be a "Lifetime Intimate Portrait" about Susan Lucci on May 12th, if anyone is interested!

I also haven't been able to read this thread because I was behind in watching the show. Yesterday, my husband and I had an AMC-athon. Two weeks worth of episodes, almost all of which were pre-empted. I'm seriously thinking of getting SoapNet for the duration of this war!

Anyway....the TV Guide said something about how Maddie's illness brought Edmund and Maria closer together. What's that all about? Is the TV Guide too far ahead of us??

Welcome, AllyandJack! I also saw that blurb in the TV Guide (and I hate knowing what's going to happen ahead of time! ) and wondered what that was all about! Thanks for the updates, Pembo and Pam! Was the show on ABC, yesterday? Or just on SoapNet? I really thought that the show was pre-empted for "GH", yesterday - maybe I should check my tape and see if it was on ABC, after all. If it wasn't, I'm not sad about missing BrattyMaddie's little "performance" (that kid is really getting on my nerves, lately!) or Isabella doing one of her "guilt" things to Maureena. She should just give it up, already. How is she reacting to Ed-dumb's warming up to Mia? Or hasn't she noticed that romance, yet?

Will go check my tape to see if maybe yesterday's episode appeared on ABC, after all! If not, will catch up today!

You know what'll happen....Mia and Edmund will get together. Maria will miraculously get her memory back....Edmund will blow her off for a while and then give in to her overwhelming charms. Then Mia and Aiden will get together to comfort each other, at which point Kendall will figure out Michael and come crawling back to either Boyd or Aiden, who will both be with her co-workers. Then Jake will come back, find Mia with Aiden and he'll turn to Kendall for comfort...then Mia will come to her senses and take Jake back and then Aiden and Kendall will get back together.

At least, in the end, Maddie and Isabella will be happy, which is really all that matters, I suppose.

Haven't stopped in for awhile because I wasn't watching the show. Finally getting back into it.

Tomorrow GH will be shown in AMC's time slot.

I find the whole Erica/Jack story so ick!! All of a sudden she loves him so much again. Blech!

I'm with you on the Erica/Jack storyline. I am so sick of them throwing these two back together. And didn't Jack just profess his love for Anna a couple of weeks ago? Think I'll go barf now. Why I keep watching this show I don't know.

Erica & Jack-bleah......He needs a real woman. Poor thing has been mooning after Erica all these years.

Isabella is just down right annoying! And so is bratty-Maddie. Where is Sam? Doesn't he long for his mother like Maddie? He at least was old enough to sort of remember her. Maddie was a baby, oh yeah, Maddie is the child by birth. So I guess only she matters.

I loved Liza & Carlos the other day. Liza is turning into the advice queen. Her days with Lysistrata have made her a much more likable character.

Still think we need some new writers......AllyandJack, you are hired!
