Saw 10 minutes today...David better not dig too hard or he'll hit the concrete of the studio set.

AND LIZA-DUH. If they were having an affair would they both make it that obvious? UNLESS, she figures Adam is intentionally wanting her to think that he and Mia are going away together, which, Liza could then decide if she wants to play into that game. Am I missing something here?

My SO said that Anna reminds him of DAVID BOWIE-heehee!

I agree with you IASW about David having killed someone or done somthing terrible but I SO wish he was just covering Maureen's butt. She's starting to get on my nerves-just a bit too holier-than-thou for me.

When David wouldn't reveal what he had buried at the crash site, Maria dug inot the sand and uncovered a corpse. David tried to explain to her and Anna that he used his experimental drug on the man, and although his patient died of natural causes, David felt he needed to hide the body because the drug hadn't been approved. Jack was upset when Anna said she'd stand by David. Aidan told a flustered Kendall that he liked the way she tried to help Greenlee.

I've had a question and when I saw the title of this thread I thought maybe someone here would know the answer. Do you know if Mark Consuelos is going to return as Mateo and if so, when? I saw on Kelly and Regis that he's back from Australia. I don't like the current mateo and I know he hasn't had a big part lately, but I was just curious. Thanks!

When we were at SSW a few years ago, I sent 6'4" DH up to the front to snap pics of everybody for me and he picked up an autographed picture as well. Have fun!!!!1

They say he's coming back, I don't know when though. Also remember that the shows are filmed about 3 weeks before they air. So he could be back taping shows but we won't see him for a few weeks.

I'm still here! Thanks for all the well wishes. This is my 11th trip to WDW and dh's 7th but this is the first one where it's been just the two of us. We've been married 28 years next month but even at this stage of the game there is still such a thing as a romantic getaway! I'm really looking forward to it and meeting up with Christine & Faith too! I hope we can try to make this an annual event and many more of you can join us next year.

Our flight leaves at 7:40 CST in the morning which means we will have to leave our house by 5:15. I'm sure I won't be getting much sleep tonight anyway.

I did manage to watch the show today. What was with Isabella gushing all over David?!?! Blech. Ppphttt. Patooey. After the way she treated Brooke. Tsk, tsk! I have to agree that I don't like Humble David too much at all. Or Weepy Anna for that matter. UGH! Sure enjoyed Tad with Liza and then later with Brooke figuring out that Brooke is the one having an affair with Adam. LOL! And Maureen is much more interesting in a scene with David than she has been with Edmund of late. It's getting pretty good. I've got the VCR all set up for while I'm away. Please pray for no power outages while I'm away.

Will be back late Tuesday and check back in once I'm settled. Carry on the torch, my friends. I'm leaving it in good hands.

Welcome, Cinmell and Aahmom1! I haven't heard anything about "real Mateo's" first airdate, either - sorry!

Lilboo - you are too funny - I was thinking the same thing about David digging in the studio sand - I wonder how deep that actually was?? And what the heck could be buried there??? I am clueless. Notice how everyone ran to the hospital because they were all so concerned about Edmund....then he woke up and they all just ran out the door and left??!! Maureen said "I'll be back in a little bit...." then ran out the door after David (after being totally rude to Anna, I might add). David was all concerned about Edmund....but never even went into his hospital room to check on him, before running out the door to start his archaeological dig, and Isabella and the kids didn't even go in to visit him, before sappily (UGH- you're right, Aprille - I was nauseous watching that scene, too) gushing all over David. Poor Edmund! He wakes up and everyone runs out the door! I still wish that he had amnesia, though!

In the mean time, I felt like shaking Anna when she realized that David is up to something new, and said "It's starting all over again"......WELL, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?! YOU'RE MARRIED TO DAVID, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!! How many times has she been through this - believing in David, then feeling "deceived" by him?! And how many times have WE had to sit through her not trusting him, his groveling his way back into her life, then her not trusting him again?! NOT AGAIN, PLEASE!!! WRITERS, PLEASE GIVE US A BREAK WITH THESE TWO, ALREADY!!!!!

Is Jamie going to stop talking again, after overhearing Brooke and Adam discussing their "kiss" (right by the stairs that lead to Jamie's room, like the brilliant people that they are)???

I've said it before, but I'll say it again - Mia is such an idiot! How does she expect Liza to trust her when she KNOWS that Liza had suspected her of having an affair with Adam in the past, and she KNOWS that Liza and Adam are having trouble.....but she still goes away for the weekend with Adam anyway??!! Nice sister.

I FINALLY saw most of Thurs and Fri episodes yesterday. I so wished Ed-dumb would'nt wake up for awhile! But I did enjoy him not being able to talk. AND I too thought it was funny how everybody left him alone in that room!

Can someone please tell Dr. Jake to get a haircut? It's a bit bushy! And Mia---bleah.

Loved the scenes with Greens and slimy Donald Steel. She sure sent him back to announcing the Caroline Rhea show!

Wow, Pembo, you're right - that IS Donald Steele who is Caroline's announcer, isn't it? I saw him on Broadway in "Into the Woods", years ago - I believe that he was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in it! I'm glad that Greenlee didn't wind up shooting Donald - he's fun to hate!

I read on Jack Scalia's website that he, along with Mia and Trey, were all fired from All My Children. Now, Jack confirmed that he was not fired and that that part was just a rumor. But I wonder if it's true with regards to Mia and Trey. I, for one, would not mind seeing them leave.

I'm glad that Jack wasn't fired - I can't imagine that they would ever do such a thing! I wouldn't mind seeing the "Chrissy doll" go, though. I guess they'd have to quickly wrap up her storylines (ie: her telling Frank that they had a child together and Liza realizing that Mia isn't the one with whom Adam is having the affair....not to mention her on-again-off-again romance with Jake...) first, though.

I haven't watched today's episode, yet - waiting for DH to come home from work so that we can watch it together, tonight!

Loved EDDUMB rasping away...not as good as his unconscious look but an improvement over SMUG EDDUMB (sorry Brandie ).

Trey...I'm neither here nor there...sorry IASW. Mia, well if they'd cook some deep, dark secrets about that baby of hers I'd consider being happy about her staying.

I love that Brooke and Tad are such good friends...I don't think they have the chemistry to be lovers again...I think I just couldn't buy it. Well, stranger things have happened....

Uuugh-please oh please let David be trying to mask something horrible that Maria did as Maureen...her self-righteousness.
I understand her wanting to know the truth but to ASSUME that that truth hides only how she'd been victimized.Does it occur to her that David might be trying to protect her?(as well as himself, I mean it is DAVID we're talking about here.)

Hello!

I received a PM from Faith, this morning, so the first of our SSW adventurors has returned!! Can't wait to hear the scoop!

I'll bet that David has a body hiding down there, in the studio sand! Why else would Maureen have screamed like that? I love when she threw the sand in his face -very funny! And what's with Anna standing there like and talking like a monotonic zombie, all of a sudden??? She was all impassioned when she left the hospital, then as soon as she sees David, it's like she goes into a trance! Maybe he DID drug and brainwash her, like Maureen said!

Yeah, Maureen IS getting a little too high and mighty......I guess that that means that "Maria" is really coming back, because Maria had a tendency to act that way, on occasion......well, someone needs to pick up where Hayley and Ditsie left off, I guess! In the mean time, doesn't ANYONE care that Edmund is in the hospital and recovering?? Anna and Jack storm into his room and get the "how are you feeling?" formalities out of the way quickly, so that they can immediately start grilling him about David's possible whereabouts. The man can't even speak, for God's sake! I have to say, ONE person whom I'm glad has NOT paid him a visit is Brooke.......she's too busy fending off her ex-husband suitors! Good for her - she deserves that, after how Edmund treated her over the past few months!

I think it's nice that Tad is trying to "do the right thing" and get back together with Brooke......but I don't buy them together again, either. I would rather see him with Liza, if he's going to go back to an old love.

What's with this new JR? It seems like he has one facial expression: scrunching up his nose and squinting his eyes to show how defiant and "tough" he is. Well, maybe he'll grow on us, like JR #2 did. I like this Jamie, though - I like how he's being protective of Brooke.

So are we now to believe that the man whom Frank saw OD was really Simone's brother? In all of New York, Frank just happened to be there, with his video camera, on that night??? Seems like a bit of a coincidence......but this IS soap opera land!!

As I watched the show today, 2 things kept bugging me!

First, Nu-JR! Bleah! In soap opera land where every man is good looking, this one doesn't fit in. IMHO!

Second, if David buried a guy on the BEACH, in the sand, 5 years ago, wouldn't it have washed away? or been uncovered by wind? or be very badly decomposed??? You surely wouldn't be able to tell it was a man right away would you????


Oh and one more thing.. Brooke blah blah blah...Give her a decent storyline. I'm tired of this poor me thing!

And Maria is coming back...the high and mighty has returned!

Simone and Frank yawn....
