My post trip depression is sinking in, but catching up on your report and seeing your pictures will for sure cure my Disney blues;)

I wish I got in touch with you two days earlier. I would have loved to pick up some things at Epcot for you. We sat at the fountain and played the maracas and tried on sombreros. It was so relaxing.

It is not easy to transition back to real life. :sad1: So glad you guys got to get away and soak up some sunshine and Disney fun.

I wish I had known about the Culture Week stuff earlier. Sometimes our principal just throws things like this at us - 'Oh yeah, let's just combine the culture stuff with Read Me Week' - and we have to do the best we can to get something together. (Should I mention our principal is a man? :rolleyes1) I was too focused on my observation, but if I had thought about it, I could have done some cool things with my kids, and I could have enlisted the help of the Art teacher in getting some kind of craft to go along with the woodcarving idea. I could borrow some things from people at church who go on the Mexico missions, but I wouldn't want to be responsible for leaving them on display out in our halls to possibly get abused or taken. We'll have something decent, but it won't be anything like I would really want it to be.

Brooklynn had some great shots. I am glad to hear Jill is getting those PP pics up. That tells me the disk got there. I know Jill has been tired and had a lot going on.

SW weekends is added to the list of times I want to go. :goodvibes

I think Brooklynn did fantastic job with her camera! She and Drew will have much to discuss on the subject in the future...

We have been talking about making a drive to Legoland when we are there this summer.
Ticket prices are reasonable. $10 for children and $25 for adults.
Anyway, we can pile into the van and head over there if you are game on one of your non-park days...

Finally here!!! Only 40-some pages late. All well! I'm caught up!

Brooklynn did a great job with her camera!!! I just love that picture of her capturing the AK tree. :cutie:

And Jill, I did read the news elsewhere...on someone else's thread I believe :confused3, but I haven't had the opportunity to congratulate you myself on the new addition to your family!!! :yay::yay::yay: I hope the pregnancy is going smoothly so far!

Hope you had a nice weekend MeMom, Jill and gang :goodvibes

Love to see the pictures from Brookie's point of view. She'll be a great photographer one day!

Oh I miss OKW. We're trying to get in a trip for NYE this year and I'm hoping we'll be able to get into OKW...the atmosphere there is just amazing.

I loved seeing Brooklynn's pictures, she got some great ones!

SWW is definitely something that would draw Charles in (he's a major Star Wars geek.) Katie sent him pictures when they were there for it and he thought it was amazing!

All caught up! :teeth: Sorry I haven't commented a lot on this trip, MeMom. From what I'm reading, it sounds like you had a great time! :) And glad to hear you are going again this summer, so excited to read more of your awesome TRs :D For now, can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

If you want DVC merchandise, go ahead and buy it! Especially when you stay at the resort! Who knows when they may go away with it?
I have a tunic length sweatshirt that I wear at home and at WDW, plus some t-shirts that I wear mainly around home, for sleep shirts and to the gym.
I wish had bought the OKW shirt...

I really think they need to make the "future DVC member" shirts in adult sizes too!
So many people with for it in their futures!

Would you believe that I made an offer on more Beach Club points last week?
Nah, I didn't think you would....

If you don't get the shirt on your Spring Break trip, let me know. We are going to stay at OKW on our trip.

I gave her a hard time when I saw she put points in for ROFR. :lmao: I wtill emails for that thread but I am NOT looking. :rotfl2: Well I peeked but nothing small is available. :rotfl:

I buy it online fromthe H2O website. Still pricey but it is one of the only conditioners to tame my hair, so I alternate between that one and a cheaper one I buy at Target. :upsidedow

They have the H2o stuff at Ulta!

Memom, Thanks for the OKW pics! We are going to stay there on our Spring Break trip next month! We can't wait. We've never stayed there or been out there to look around!!! we are going to try Olivia's too. I'll let you know how we like it.
I'm behind as usual. I'm glad your obsrvation went well. Brooklyn's pics turned out good!

Yes, when I see Pop pictures, I feel like I am "home".

I glad your observation went well.

:hug:Sorry you received sad news in your happy place. I really admire you and Jill for keeping it together for the girls.

Love looking at the OKW pictures. Oh I love those marshmallow Disney treats.

Love Brooklynn's POV pictures!

I got a new job! I'll be working with children as a line therapist. It's a start and they were happy to hire me even without a lot of professional child care experience.

Oh and check out this nail design I did.

I'm surprised that you have not been at that time. You must go, as you are one of those who is going to cover every single thing in 'The World', eventually. :thumbsup2

I think we're going to stick with Disney things, and mostly free Disney things. I can see us going to Legoland in the next few years, though. The girls would enjoy it. We also want to take them to Sea World. They will love that, too. Our problem is that with annual passes, it's hard to think about going to pay at Sea World when we could be doing 'free' things in WDW.

I think Brooklynn will be smarter than I am, so she'll be able to understand Drew's photography language better. ;)

I think it is cute that Brooklynn has her mouth helping as she frames the picture.

It was a nice weekend for me. Next weekend will be much better, though, as the girls will be here to go and see a Disney Live show. :lovestruc

I loved OKW the minute I stepped onto the property. Having lived in Florida for a while, it feels very comfortable to me. I like the easy-going feeling it has.

Brooklynn's pictures are really great! It's so cute. Thanks for posting them, Jill. :goodvibes

I look forward to seeing many more good pictures that Brooklynn took, too.

Yes, he would love it. He would also roll his eyes if he heard me trying to explain any of it to someone. ;)

Good to see you, friend! :cool1:

We will be back on June 23rd! :woohoo:

Did you go on your big school trip yet?

I love Brooklynn's pictures! She did a fantastic job It was very cool seeing things from her point of view.

I think we forget, too, that little kids see a sea of 'bums' when they are in lines. :rotfl: Poor things!

We have just gotten an Ulta here in my town. I haven't been in it yet.

Yes, let us know about Olivia's. If we don't get to it when Jill is still there, that may be something Brooklynn and I do on a resort-hopping day.

I think you got my vibes that were floating around, because I was just thinking that we haven't heard from you in a bit.

What are your Disney plans for when you go to your sister's graduation? Are you going to visit Pop? You can stock up on treats to take back home with you. :thumbsup2

Congratulations on your job! You will learn a lot during the experience.

Even though you are no longer working there nor anywhere near it, you still are loyal to Mickey. ::MickeyMo

With Brooklyn taking pictures now, maybe we will get some more of you, MeMom. ;)

And you think this is funny, do you???

Go Brooklyn! Awesome pictures! :thumbsup2 You are following in your Memom's footsteps! I bet those make Drew proud. ;)

Am I the only person who knows nothing about Star Wars? I don't know who any of those characters are. I need to rent those old movies I guess but I have a hard time getting into Sci-Fi stuff. :confused3

Hi friends! Sorry I've been seriously MIA. I'm in the midst of home remodeling. My floors were done last week, so yea!! That big part is done. Now it's cleaning the fine construction dust off everything :)

Have a great week!

Getting all caught up after being seriously behind yet again! :confused3

My heart just broke for you reading your post about Rafiki's. Hope you are doing better!

Loved the jingle jungle pictures.

Loved your pictures from OKW. I added three nights to our stay and if our waitlists don't come through, we will be staying there for the first time. I will definitely have to get some OKW merchandise.

Love Brooklyn's pictures! She is going to be a great photographer too. It was also nice to get to see MeMom for a change. :)
