Yippeeeeeeeeeee :Pinkbounc I knew you wouldn't make us wait much longer. Those were great pictures too! Oh and one more thing, you really do have great legs! :smooth:

keep it coming, you definately know how to brighten up a day. And as a fellow dweeb, you make me realize I'm not the only one who bangs his head regularly!!! :rotfl2:

Don't feel bad about hitting your head...DH use to knock himself out on a regular basis in Japan on our doorway. Seems a 6'3 guy isn't suppose to live in a small Japanese apartment, let alone go into that apartment. :lmao:

You see, lounging on the beach is her idea of the near perfect vacation. If they also bring you drinks, by golly, it’s darn near heaven.

If they were canoodling in public....I would guess not long at all! ;) :teeth:

Great installment and pics....and oh yeah.....Nice legs! ;) :teeth: :thumbsup2

I can honestly say I never had a problem with the dark thing as my brother and sister who had the couch and the wall bed so they could see the tv better insisted on falling asleep with it on. So there was plently of light but also plenty of noise to wake me up at 4:00 AM.

Note to self: Do not drink anything while reading this report. The entire first few paragraphs had me rolling.

Guess it's because I feel your pain. I am sooo blind without my contacts or glasses - and I HATE glasses - they move too much.

Love this "episode" as always, and those are great photos...even the underwater ones. A little photoshopping could do wonders - that's experience talking there. :teeth:

My hubby is like you, he is blind with out his very thick glasses too. Can't help but laugh when he hits the washroom door when I accidently :rolleyes1 close it when I go to bed.

I have been to Castway two times once when it was warm and beautiful laying in a hammock and the last time very cold and windy. That time we went back to the boat after a little time on the island. It was funny to see people with coats, towel etc. laying on the chairs. They were freezing but I guess they paid good money to be on a tropical island they were going to stay there. Both times thought the water was way....to cold to go into.

Thanks for the pics who wouldn't love a white sand beach and nothing to do ....

I am sure you well be done by the time I go at the end of Jan. right :lmao:

:teeth: sorry for writing a "novel"..i guess i got carried away..[you
do know, we just got off the wonder..right before you got on? & i usually
read reports in bunches instead one chapter at a time, therefore i sometimes
write longer responses]

* sometimes when you do a lil extra { like adding kisses } to your request,
they {the princess} will personalized their autographs...kinda hoping you
tell us what they did?

ha...your shopping "skills"...killed me with :lmao: . you know we [guys]
are supposed to be one the same side?

it is pretty neat..how you & mr.force formed a partner-ship. so it safe to
assumed, you 2 were in front of them..messin around?

ok,..back to the "putting on a shower scene..did you {doc} or did you not
take pictures? ..can we see your head peeping over the top?

luggage managment 101....on one trippie..you literally could not see me
behind the cart but i could hear people :rotfl: ....my wife had one suitcase
just for ..her beauty products..and that was before she did her shopping.
probably why our luggage were inspected.

* noticed? i buy her jewerly before ..going...every night i added her a lil
surprise with the towel animal....you can't imagined how much $$$ that
saved me..in the long run. ( 11 days cruise)

jasmine, jasmine jasmine...pay attention and you're be surprise how much
is missed.... :rolleyes1 ...i'll probably get ripped for this..but disney does a
great thing by allowing some of the stage girls mix with the guests.. :teeth:
[ not saying i am one who takes advantage but how many times does a
regular :groom: gets to have your pic taken with show girls?]

we did not have alot kids on this cruise...it was strange to "see" cinderella
waiting ..for someone/anyone to take a pic. , @ the farewell party..
before that..we took some pics with all 7 princess together..somehow i
ended up behind jasmine..my wife insisted that was no accident. :confused3

hope that clears up my line of questioning....now for the current ones..

did you inside the cannon to see if jack was hiding his rum?

maybe i shouldn't say this..but i think your pic. of captain jack "caught"
him exploring near some gorgeous landscape...that is, a grea pic.! did
you guys noticed all the rings he was wearing?...i kept trying to trade...
my disney pins for one...& did you see his compass? [from the movie].

i think it's dog gone funny, the adventures you had "nag"-ivating your
room... :thumbsup2

and all your pics have been great...tell your wife her close up was neat-o,
see the :wizard: over the port window? or the skull on top of the upper
lip? prefect detailing....while the post office pic was just ..ducky!

is your wife a johnny cash's fan?

i think the mickey statue waiting to shake your hand..a lady from tennesse
took my pic..but another [pooh size}..climb into the pic. one for the trash can!

anyway..this has been a great report & full of laughs...it was also neat cos
we just came off right before you guys. are you going to share what
your daughter thought about your trip?

and my conclusion...i think it is becoming quite clearer , you're one of
those famous "lap dog"...out to have some fun! :dog: paw:

Hmm, I am wondering why you didn't have a night light if you were the planners that you say you were. I thought that a nightlight was listed somewhere on the list of what you absolutely have to take with you. Unless of course you thought the nightlight was when you were cruising with children, and I remember that you left your little princess at home.

Thanks for writing and sharing your cruise. popcorn:: I'm enjoying it and the pics are great! Even the underwater ones.

Dog, seems like every one is busting on you for stumbling around in the dark. Well, here is my free tip for cruisers.

Open the closet door just a smidge. The light comes on and basks the room in an ambient glow. Dare I say, almost romantic.

BTW...it was never the bathroom door that would get me on those dark nights, it was the STEP UP into the bathroom. Honestly, why is there a curb there. Almost changed my name from Grumpy Dude to Stuby.

From one blind, thick-glasses wearing person to another - it is what it is. I consider us the lucky ones because at Christmas, when you take your glasses/contacts off and look at the Christmas tree - it's beautiful!!!

And your TR is great. I am still enjoying it I laughed really hard when you wrote about wondering about people's stories - I am very much the same. I'm very much like a reporter when I meet someone, asking them 20 questions and more if they're interesting. :teeth:

Why does my name remind you of North Dakota?
Love the report - last time we were at CC my DD 6 had the beginning of strep and was just lying around and my dd 6 months - was, well, 6 months - not too great of a beach goer, but I have a few cute pics - I need to go back! They are now 8 and 2!

I've never even BEEN to North Dakota, so I just don't get it.

It was getting on to lunch by then, but we wanted to go to the not so subtly named Serenity Beach. Actually, I thought this was going to be another meet and greet event with characters from the sci-fi show, Firefly. Mal, Book, Jayne, Zoe, Wash, Kaylee, River, Simon, and Inara. . .especially Inara. If there was to be no Jasmine, then at least there could be Inara, right?

How awesome would that have been, though? :thumbsup2

I see your problem: "brother and sister who had the couch and wall bed. . ." Solution: Talk them into taking a bath. In my case, whacking my head into an amnesiac coma would be preferable to having my siblings on a cruise with me.

If your glasses move too much, might I suggest you cut back on the liquor? Just sayin'. :thumbsup2 As for photoshop, it made my pics look sepia, not to be confused with septic, though there is a connection at work there. . .

Yes, it IS time for you to go back. '08 anyone? :teeth: As for ND, it's an inside joke only to me. I was a missileer once and assigned to the 91st Strategic Missile Wing at Minot AFB, ND, many moons ago. This Hallmark moment brought to you by the new Nuke LaLoosh novel, Strategic Air Command--I Was SACumcized.

How funny, my DS's teacher and husband just won a 1939 Piper J3 Cub from the air museum in Minot. My DH was in the AF too and when DS was sharing this with us, his response was

"Why not Minot?"
"Freezins the reason!"

Nobody wanted to go to Minot it was too cold!

BTW, thanks for the great trip report! :teeth:

Um... I'm really starting to wonder about this odd connection you and I seem to have regarding experiences on our cruises. First the verandah door and now this... here is what you wrote:

sleepydog25 said:
Did you know it’s dark at sea? Really, really dark?...Here’s another tip. Do not, for the love of all that’s holy, turn on one of those bathroom lights in the stateroom in the middle of the night without first, somehow, adjusting your eyes. Think of searing, white hot pokers. Brings a whole new meaning to the song, “Blinded by the Light.” Now I understand just a little of what Saul encountered on that lonely road to Damascus. No, the best alternative is to feel your way to the bathroom and do your business in the dark. Only, remember. . .that is a very short hallway between the bed and the bathroom. . .and. . .the stateroom door is made of metal. Very hard metal. It makes a very loud clanging sound if hit hard enough with one’s head. Just sayin’.

And here is a strikingly similar passage from my TR:

RoyalVizier said:
I awoke in the night to pitch blackness which I am not at all used to. Between small night lights and hallway lights and street lights there is always some sort of faint light to get around. Not so in the stateroom. At sea there is just blank black empty nothingness out the window. So there I was lying in bed wondering what time it was. I evidently hadn’t read far enough on the DISboards to the posts that recommend taking some sort of digital glowing clock. All we had were our watches. I took my watch and ever so carefully attempted to make my way into the bathroom. Now take the pitch blackness and introduce suddenly the harsh brightest of white bathroom lights that you can imagine searing into a groggy dream induced mind and you have me, standing there blinded, crumpled against the stateroom door as I try to figure out how I’m going to tell my family that I can no longer see for all eternity.

Anyway… it was 3am so I went back to bed (stumbling the whole way.) I kept having visions of me stubbing my toe on the bed and falling through the closed privacy curtain right onto the sofa holding my dozing daughter. Luckily, I just sort of flopped unceremoniously back on the bed hoping for the best.

I could cry plagarism, but I'll refrain. ;) :) :teeth:

I understand about the glasses/contacts also! And I loved the part about Saul on the road to Damascus!
