All HersheyPark fans-info regarding refillable mugs

I think you can use your 2009 refillable mug at the counter service spots. They will charge you 1.69 (including tax) instead of .99 plus tax for a current year mug refill! I didn't realize this until I accidently handed the old mug for a lemonade refill (we had brought it just to refill with water and bought a new mug for this year.) The server told me it was 1.69 instead of the .99 plus tax-when I asked her why she said it was because it was an old mug...

I just returned from Hershey (this morning) and yes they accept old mugs for $1.69 refill

I think it was like $7.79 with 0.99 refills good for the entire season. It's a nice size mug with a bendy straw and lid.

Yes, it's called Kiddie Swap and it's detailed on the Welcome Map and Guide that you get as you enter the park. It says, "The Kiddie Swap program allows parents to take turns riding while the other parent stands to the side with a child who is too short to ride. Or when one parent has two children who need to be accompanied by an adult on a ride, the children may swap places."

regular theme park queues (sp?). It's a very large park w/ tons of walking up and down hills- great exercise! lots of variety of rides- even quite a bit of musical entertainment along the midways great fun!

omg! I didnot even notice that! I'm gonna go look it up right now!! I wouldn't have needed it, but it's good to know

yep it's on the map/guide. another interesting paragraph is :

Hersheypark reserves the right to refuse any guest rental of an ECV if that guest is unable to complete the on-site training or unable to comply with the restrictions of the unit.

Does Disney do that?

No idea... I didn't know there was training involved. Don't alot of people rent them from outside companies anyway at Disney?
