All Hail Robo!

I have a folder on my computer for Robo maps. I love them!! I really have never seen anything so good in a guide book.
Same here! I've purchased all of the guide books but haven't found any maps in them near as useful as Robo's maps! Thanks again, Robo! :worship:

Okay Robo, anytime you're ready to write "Disboards for Dummies" I've got dibs on the first copy!
Yes, indeed. And you could answer questions such as:

"How crowded will it be on August 5 at 2:24 p.m.?" (very and it will rain 62 minutes later)
"Should I plan or not plan?" (If you need to ask, you need a plan)
"Is Chef Mickey's worth it?" (please forward me your tax return before I answer)
"Will I starve to death if I don't get ADRs?" (of course)
"I absolutely hate rollercoasters and am afraid of the dark...should I ride EE?" (sure, what do I have to lose)
"Sell me on the Polynesian!" (no)

And you must include Daxx's (or Sparks', I never remember who said it) comment on the Community Board: "The CB - Come for the Disney, stay for the flaming." I have always loved that. :)

Robo, you do do an amazing job with those pictures. I was once trying to think which way was fastest to from OKW to Fort Wilderness and actually thought, "Now, if I just had Robo around, I could ask him to give me an overhead shot." Really did. :teeth:

We've been trying to hit 1,000 posts before our trip (I know that's peanuts for some of you folks, but to us, it's grand), and I can think of no better way to honor our milestone than to say thank you to Robo!!
Lucy's Mom:thumbsup2

I agree! :thumbsup2 Robo's got the little details and the big details of Disney down that can really make a difference in planning, and the maps are beyond helpful!

Thanks, Robo! :worship:

You know that is such a great idea... but other than the random posts where people ask (and I'm not on enough to catch them), does Robo have a website where I can see all his maps?

I agree - Robo maps rock! :thumbsup2 You're advice and maps are extremely helpful and I appreciate them as well.:)

I agree Robo's maps are the best EVER!!!! What I would love is a thread that has them all, so it makes it easier to find to print off for my next trip. Now that I've seen them, I can't imagine going to WDW without having them with me.
:worship: :worship: :worship: Robo, you're the best, don't ever leave us.:worship: :worship: :worship:

Add my thanks as well. I haven't been to WDW for almost a decade and Robo has provided so many answers and insight with his posts. Just a great person to have on DIS boards! :worship: :yay:

I agree. You have helped me out too and with no condesending post like some others on this board.

YES! Thank You Robo

the DIS boards should have a sticky with Robo photo/maps for easy access just like Cheshire figments park tickets

which reminds me...

Is their a path to walk from the Poly to the TTC or do you have to take the monorail ?

Sure!

Depends on which BUILDING to which you are going as to whether it is faster to walk or take the monorail to the Poly.

If you want to walk TO the TTC, that will definitely be faster than riding all the way around the Resort Monorail loop.

I too wanted to thank Robo for his help.:thumbsup2 He provided me a link to when all of the shows in the parks were going to be happening. It was great to have this to help me plan my day out in advance. I would not have been able to have such a "smooth" trip without his tip and of course the ever valuable maps. I agree that a link should be made with the maps.

Thank so much! We are so lucky to have you on the Boards!

No walkway (although one was PLANNED, it was never completed.)
It is a very long way.

Ummm... unless I read something wrong, there IS a path from the Poly to the TTC, and it is a pretty short walk (depending on what part of the Poly you are starting from). It should be much quicker than taking the monorail and making three other stops along the way.

Yes. I am working (shocking, I know) on some "real job" video projects at the same time I am posting on the DIS...

Copied the "Can we walk from Poly to MK" answer, instead of "Can we walk from Poly to TTC" answer.

It's fixed now. Thanks for the notice.

We just about know everywhere in WDW from going so much, but every time I see a thread started about "where is...", I just hope Robo has seen it to post a map for them. No matter what the map is of, it brings back such great memories and I just sit and look at it and think of all the fun we've had there.

Thanks Robo for helping me reminisce!!!!:cloud9:

I must agree, I have really enjoyed using Robo's maps. Even though my family has been to WDW 10+ times, I have a difficult time visualizing things. Like a previous poster, I have a folder where I put every link with a Robo map. Thanks so much for helping us out. :thumbsup2

Those answers would of course be found under the Crystal Ball chapter!

:wave2: Hi, I'm a Robo fan too. We go a few times a year but I still find out things I didn't know by looking at Robo's maps. Loved the DAK map showing that "hidden" path!
