Hi, Am I missing something here? I thought the free dining does not start until Aug 20? When I try to book online for dates that include Aug 13, I get a message that states, "Sorry, you can't book This Special Offer arriving before August 20, 2006. Please change your dates, or book one of our regular packages." How are other people booking for Aug 13 (like the above poster) and still getting free dining?

When the promotion first started the dates were August 13-September 30. Most of the dates from August 13-20 have been filled, but there is availability starting August 20, so they extended the booking window deadline from June 4 to June 25. The people who have the free dining before August 20 most likely booked much earlier (when the promo started May 4). HTH

Thank you so much for clearing that up. I was going to tinker with my dates to get the free dining, but looks like I'm too late for the Aug 13 date. That's ok, we're getting a nice deal for our dates anyhow.

My son and I will be staying at All Star Sports from August 25 to the 31, then off to 3 nights on the Wonder! I signed up for the dining package. After quoting just the room at $670, the whole package (including dining plan and 1 day park tickets...I already have tickets from previous trip) came in at $664. Couldn't pass that one up! I also made reservations for fireworks cruise and surfing lesson, has anyone else done these things? Curious to see if they are worth the $. My 10 year old son doesn't know about trip yet, trying desperatly to keep it a secret until night we leave, for HUGE birthday surprise! He will turn 11 on cruise.
I am so excited I can hardly stand it!

I'm so jealous, I want to go. Hope everyone has a great time and I also hope that the deal is back on for NEXT Aug/Sept. 2007. With a new baby due in Aug we just can't go this year. Holding off till next year.!!!

BTW, we booked it the very first day you could, April 1st, hence the 8/13 date.

Count us in! DD6, DBF and I will be at YC September 14-17. This will be a surprise trip for DD. We won't tell her until the night before. This will also be DBF's first trip with us. He hasn't been to WDW for 25 years! This trip would not be happening had it not been for free dining. It's just too good of a deal to pass up.

Free Dining rocks! DH, DD5 and I are going for our very first time Aug 15 to 22 at WL. We can't wait! ADR's for Le Cellier, Kona, 1900 Park Fare, Artist Point, Crystal Palace, Whispering Canyon, Mama Melrose (Fantasmic pkg) and Donald's Breakfastosaurus. They're going to have to roll me outta there!

We also had already booked a trip in May paying OOP for DDP but we changed it to get Free Dining.It will be myself DH DD3 MIL and BIL.We're staying at Pop Sept.22-30.The free dining is great.We had it last year and we're spoiled now.We also got to fly last year for the first time and it was one of the best trips ever.We were picked up, taken care of,we didnt have to worry about anything our food was paid for it was like getting pampered.It was great very relaxing for a Disney vacation.
