Simply yes especially over busy periods and how long before you go that you book. I checked for easter for a renter and there was nothing available except one night at SSR. I would keep checking as it changes all the timeIs it possible that all DVC rooms of every catagory at every resort are booked for an entire 6 night timeframe? Seems kind of impossible but maybe?
If they are going to leave a few rooms open in case of problems -- which, I agree, I hope they do -- why *would* they show them as available? If they are set aside for emergency use, they are not available to be reserved by definition of 'being set aside for emergency use.'
Not great. The value category usually sells out well before the 7 month window opens.Hi guys,
What are the chances of being able to book a value one bedroom at Animal Kingdom Villas during the last two week ps of August at 7 months out?
Thanks in advance,
Sharon

The closer you get to the end of August, the better the chances. Schools coming back into session tend to make availability better at all resorts at that time.
But as Carol said, SV is always tough for non-owners. As usual, we'd advise to book at the home resort at 11 months and switch to AKV SV if available at 7 months.
There is no fee to book a DVC resort.Do you have to pay the $95 fee twice then?
