Not to sound rude, but are you asking this because you tried to book a room and this is what you were told, or is this just a general question?

It looks like there are some conventions going on at the convention center.

Have you called them?? Often they have rooms if you call, but not if you book online. This happened to us back in June. Every website said they were all sold out, but they had TONS when we called. Also, they may be sold out of packages but not individual rooms as they only set aside a certain number of rooms for packages...

I have tried for a very long time to book online and they have been sold out for a very long time. I am going there for my birthday this weekend, (by the way this is Hollyster2, on my daughter's computer-the computer will NOT let us log anyone out or in except this name and we don't know why) and will follow your advice and try to call. I have called before when the online is saying full, and told the same over the phone. I just wondered if there was a convention or a specific reason for the hotels to be full at this time of year. I have never been to the parks at the time of year...every other time but my birthday month.
