Been checking on the website and it never has any sites available for Halloween this year. Is it really booked solid already? Had no problem getting a res last year.

It is a popular time. You're gonna have to be persistent and also "play" (try longer periods of time)with some dates to get in. If it works cancel the extra days ASAP.

I'm doing the same thing for Thanksgiving. We always get our Halloween ressies in January because they sell out fast.

Just played and if you book oct 27-nov 10 you'll find availability. ;)

Still no luck, been trying for over a month with no luck. All the sudden this year the campground seems to be getting much attention, more than any year before now. I can book the 30th but not on the 31. Does Disney sell reservations to any company as a block of campsites? I'll book through them if need be, but it's getting close to having to cancel this year.

My wife will tell ya, I'm the worlds most persistent pest , I have always gott'n the ressies we want over the years,,just gotta be very persistent.

He called so much one year they answered the phone "hello Frank". :)

This is true! We go camping at Fort Wilderness every Thanksgiving and sometimes we can get reservations and sometimes we can't. So.....we call and book for a month and then closer to the time, we cancel our extra days. This usually works for us.:thumbsup2

We've been going every Halloween since 2001 and we always book our site at least 9 months in advance. You've been lucky if you've been able to wait this long and get in.

We're in, my sister is in, but we're looking for another premium site for Halloween this year for my outlaws. I get up every morning and check the site. Sometime a travel agent can get "hard to find" dates, but the one I've been using has a waitlist for this Halloween AND Thanksgiving.

Keep checking. Every morning. The closer we get, the better your chances since plans change everyday and people have to cancel their reservations....

Update, we just got a reservation tonight so to anyone else looking to join the fun, don't give up and as I did, take the advice those above this post gave and keep trying. :thumbsup2

Kewl! That's proof that persistence pays off. Bama Ed

We did book it online, but you can try the phone reservations daily as well. They have exactly the same info as the online reservations.
