Wow that's some price!

I am just booking Oct 2013 - got the flights and condo so far - so you're farther ahead than me!

Sounds like a dream vacation :)

Wow that price tag just scared the life out of me! :rotfl2:

Was there a reason you went for Beach Club in 2 rooms? You could have possibly got a treehouse villa or grand villa at SSR or OKW and all be in one space. Not sure on the pricing on that but that just seems really steep!

Complete orlando a two bed villa for 8 of us is 3400 something

Blimey, that's some price. Did they definitely include free dining, they didn't accidentally charge you for it?

Yesterday (pre free dining) one std view room at the beach club in October (last 2 weeks) was £3,416. I priced them all so I could compare against free dining. August is more expensive though usually so looks like you got something for free somewhere.

We have stayed on site 3 times now and always stayed in different resorts.

POR ( 2 rooms), AKL (2 rooms) and OKW (2 bed villa)

And as this is the final time my parents are coming with us we decided to stay at the resort they have always said they would like to stay at. As they love Epcot (plus F+W fest).

Yes it is a lot of money, but we the price does seem fair. (Virgin wanted around 17k for a similar package)

A single room with disney is around £3500 for the 2 weeks.

£3000 for the room is a good price. I have an appointment at Thomson on Saturday hope I can get beach club for £3000 but won't book flights with them

Try kenwood travel too...we got a much better price than Thomson and virgin : we are 3 rooms at POFQ between 2 families of 6 each inc free QSD for much less than that in August...

I see, well if that's where they want to stay then that's a good reason. I like both the Yacht & Beach Club but the price tag always puts me off. You might have got a better price with renting points but hey, it's done now and you'll have a great time! :thumbsup2

I did look at that but would have to wait until the 11 month window booking window. It would also meant that i would have had to pay for the flights in full now rather than a £58PP deposit for the entire package. And there is nothing stopping me cancel and rebooking if some amazing deal comes up.

I can't wait, last time when we stayed at OKW with DDP we ate at Ecpot many times in the evening. So this time it will be so nice to just have a little walk over to Ecpot for food.

I thought i would drop them a line after seeing your post and this was the quote i got.

hanks for your email regarding holiday to Florida, I am able to offer you the following:

· Virgin atlantic direct non stop flights from Gatwick to Orlando International, departing 12 October 2014 for 14 nights - Premium Economy return flights

· A 7 seater minivan with full insurance included and a tank of fuel

· 2 standard rooms at Disney's Beach Club

· 2 x $200 gift card

· 14 day Disney passes

· Free Disney Dining plan

The total package price will be £17,949.

I assume they couldnt offer BHX, as that is what i put on the request form.

Thomson quoted me £13200 for two rooms at akl flying from gatwick for 5 adults 2 kids I would still have to add universal tickets and car hire to that price.
We will b booking through wtw travel as its so much cheaper.

We did 2 rooms back in 2010 and had 3 adults 3 kids it cost us £10,900 for 21 nights, loved loved loved the resort if I could afford to go back again I would in a heart beat! But having to get 2 rooms each trip is a killer!
