is anyone planning to attend the All American Rejects Mardi Gras concert on the 25th? I'm thinking about attending but things like that are so much more enjoyable with people.

Son and I will be arriving that day, and will be in the parks from arrival time (probably around 3pm) until close, but we're hoping the concert and final Mardi Gras parade will result in some shorter lines for riding. I had honestly never heard of The All American Rejects until we saw they were playing there this Saturday.

I'll likely be there but with my husband. We tend to just watch part of the concerts though. Are you an annual passholder? There was a single rider Facebook group that is an off-shoot of the annual passholder Facebook group. I'm not on it but I've heard of many using it to have people to hang out with.

I saw them a couple of years ago during Mardi Gras and believe me...you will have tons of people around you for the concert. They packed the place the night I went and don't really expect it to be any different this time around.

I want to go as it's the only band I really wanted to see in this whole line up of bands this year. However, I have to get up at 4am in the morning for work the next day. So, going to see them and try to drive on I-4 and I-95 all by myself late at night afterward and only getting a couple of hours of sleep is not going to work.

I saw them this past summer in Nashville. I was REALLY looking forward to it, because I love some of their songs...I'm pretty sure the lead singer was drunk/drugged for his set...he was more of less ok for a song or two, then he laid down on the stage and sang his last few songs. In other words, after my experience, i wouldn't risk a lot to see them again, lol. They were the opening act for Blink-182, so they only played about five songs...so we didn't have to endure too much, haha.
