Does anyone know if you get room discounts at the HRH if yoy get the Hard Rock All Access Pass? The membership is $25, so I was curious if it is worth it. Right now the rates for our stay are cheapest using the super saver discount - cheaper than AAA and APH. Anyone have info on the all access pass?

A few years ago, I paid the $25 for the Hard Rock All Access Pass. It is really designed to give you discounts on dining at the Hard Rock restaurants. There is no discount included for rooms at HRH. We used the All Access Pass to get a discount on a meal at the Hard Rock restaurant on a trip to Universal back in 2006. Then we never renewed the pass.

Thanks for the info. Well I won't even bother then, our worse meal we have had in all our visits to Universal was at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Wow! Our meals at the Orlando Hard Rock Cafe have been consistently good, comparable to the meals at the other City Walk restaurants, and better than the food in the parks. However, we've only had lunch and have gone when it's not too crowded. The Orlando HRC is supposed to be the largest HRC in the world and I wonder if its size is a problem when crowded. What time of day did you go? Was it crowded?

we bought the pass at HRC for $25.00 and used it a couple of times at the cafe and with a party of 5 the discount on the meals really made it a pretty good deal.We couldn t use it at the hotel except for in the gift shop because according to the person at the desk,HRH at Universal is a Loews hotel and not really a part of the Hard Rock chain.
With the goodies that came with the card like a free pin and a back pack we thought the deal wasn t bad and we live about a hour and half from the HRC in Gatlinburg so we can use the card from time to time.

parentsoffour - We went on a very crowded Saturday night. Started off bad because they didn't have our priority seating and we had to argue with the 17 year old "manager" that we had made the priority seating and we were even staying at Hard Rock. Anyways, after much attitude they sat us and then the meal was really horrible. The kids burgers were inedible and they didn't eat a thing. The waitress never asked if anything was wrong with them. She asked if we wanted to take them home and I said "no, they were really bad" No response from her or any other staff person and fully charged for everything. After that we decided never to try it again!

You don't have to renew it. It's a one-time fee to join. That's it!

Is this correct? I bought it in 2002, its still good?:confused3

Yes, I bought mine in 2003 and still use it every trip.

The only time you need to ante up again is if you wanted a card with the new logo, and the other goodies that come with it (usually the $20 credit, the HRC bag, and some pins).

With the $20 credit its almost worth it to get a new one, what kind of bag?
