Hi! Came over from Tim & Lesley's TR and am all caught up. Looks like you guys had such a blast! I've heard great things about the Segway tours but am afraid I would injure myself or god forbid, someone else!

Re: hot waiters. If it takes a discrepancy in the bill to facilitate an interaction, so be it.

Unscheduled maintenance in the pool. I've read about that on a few TRs lately not just yours and Lesleys. Is there an epidemic?

Great update Diane! I just love the KP Missions around world showcase! LAst Sept was the first time we did it and it was so HOT that we didn't really get to fully enjoy it so that is def one thing we are looking forward to doing in December!

Another great update. Too bad about the heat, it really does make those KP missions not quite as fun. I'll have to be sure to check out the French acrobats, they look amazing! You know it's hot when you see how quickly those Mickey bars melt when you know they are rock hard frozen when you get themGlad Bryan enjoyed his segway tour loved the video, I'm sure I would fall off, those guys looked like pros

I like hearing the trip from different points of view.
It sure looks like you had a lot of fun despite
- the service in O'hana(We are eating there and we have had 1 great experience and 1 terrible one. This one is the tie breaker)
- the brown flag at the pool. Yup, unscheduled maintenance is code for a mess in the pool

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay in trip reporting! Lesley, Tim and the kids just left on Thursday after being here in NJ with us for a week! We had SO MUCH FUN! We tried to show them the best New Jersey has to offer! I promise I will be updating fast and furious now because I recently found out that I have finally been hired in my own full time teaching position this fall teaching health and phy. ed at one of our middle schools....SO, I need to finish this report up ASAP!!!

So after we spent sometime relaxing back at the AKL it was time to get ready for our dinner at Teppan Edo! This has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Disney!

We headed to the lobby to meet up with lesley and Tim as we were all going to drive together to the Beach Club and walk through the International Gateway!

Year of the Snake buddies!

We drove over and made our way to the restaurant. For some reason Matthew was in a very foul mood on this night, we thought he was just tired. Turns out he was just feeling like we were treating him like a little kid. It really became evident on this trip exactly how much he is growing up!

Headed towards Japan!

We made it!

We checked in and it was nice knowing that we wouldn't be sitting with strangers, it would just be the 8 of us...guaranteed to be fun!

Lesley and I immediately ordered our favorite Tokyo Sunset!

We all really enjoyed this meal, the food was delicious and the chef was entertaining!

After dinner we went down into the shop below the restaurant!

More jokes about the camel toe socks...it's kind of like farts never stops being funny!!

Everyone was hustling to vogue some kimonos!!

After all our kimono trying on, Lauren was the only one who actually walked out of the store with one...fittingly so because she was beautiful in it!!

We decided to try and stake out a spot for Illuminations.....

Of course Grey Goose slushies were in order!! (JUST LOVE THIS DRINK)

Sadly, the sky started looking a little scary so we decided to skip Illuminations and head back to the AKL!

We got back to the AKL and Tim decided to play trivia with the kids. They each took turns and could choose Spongebob or Disney trivia!

After awhile, we decided to call it a night to try and catch up on some much needed sleep!
