All 3 kids are sick and I'm worn out

There is some sort of gastrointestinal virus going around and my kids have it. When I called the school earlier this week to let them know that DD and younger DS are sick, the secretary said that it's going around the school. She said that one father called the school and everyone in their family has this virus.

Since Sunday, all I have done is nurture my kids, do laundry from several accidents (don't ask) and clean the bathrooms and floors; I'm worn out. You know something is wrong with my kids when they're all home and the house is quiet. DH left for work feeling exhausted from getting up in the middle of the night with me.

I hope that he and I don't get this horrible thing. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hope you all feel better soon!! We've been struck with a never-ending cold in our house. We've all had it twice now in the past month. It feels like we won't all be healthy at the same time every again! LOL! Hang in there!!!!

I have the same problem with my two right now, so I know how you feel. That virus is horrible, we spent the past two days in the doctors officewith the baby and DD(5). Now that DD is in school it seems like she is always sick with something.

I've been there sister! At least you're getting all over with at once. It's a pain when it staggers among the kids...the illness seems to last forever!

I'm glad you have the DISBoards to run away to (and still be in ear distance from the sickos)

Both of my kids had it for a few days last week within a few hours of one another. I know what you mean about the accidents. This was a nasty one.

On the upside, it's been over a week and I never got it . Maybe you won't either!

DD(5) ate a little lunch today. She is watching cartoons right now. She had this last month and it lasted 3 days. We are on day 2 right now and I will be grateful when it is over!
