alien encounter

any experiences on alien encounter out there? only got to ride it once and had to go in on my own. wasnt too worried about it as im not easily scared, or so i thought. all i can say is this, if you didnt need to be belted in(shoulder restraints) i would have been on the knee of the poor guy beside me i have never been so scared EVER on a ride and never been as scared since.but i miss it like crazy! i think it was the breathe on the back of my neck that did it for me! anyone feel the same as me?

Sadly this ride has been replaced by Stitch. You are right though, it scared the heck of me also.

I really enjoyed AE but sadly its been changed to Stitch. Stitch IMO is a poor attempt to Disney up this Ride.

haha I hated it!
My family and I went on it the first ever time we went to Disney, I was 11 and my brother was 9, my brother got so scared and was crying so much we had to get ou early! Was put off for life!

Yes, AE was one of my all time favs!!! I was very upset that they took it out. I think they should have moved it to the Studios instead of replacing it.

Anyway, one time DH and I were in AE and during the "show" one of the cast members came in with a flashlight. I looked over and he was picking someone up off the floor and escorting them out. I don't think it was anyone being silly, I think someone was so scared that they got out of the harness and laid on the floor! I am not sure if it was a child or an elderly person. I saw a group of elderly people in the que line. I remember thinking at the time that I hoped someone didn't pass out or anything. Poor thing!!!

That was a great attraction!! The effects were awesome. The very first time I rode it, I couldn't stop laughing because it actually scared me.

Unfortunately, Stitch is horrible in comparison.

I always wanted to go on it because I dont really get scared that often but i It closed so I went on the stitch ride. I hated that ride it was a big time waster. I hope AE was better. I also hope they bring it back.
