Alice tea party???

My DD7 just went last Friday and LOVED it!! She said it was one of the best times she has ever had. You do have to leave your child with them though, so if that is a problem for either you or your her/him I would skip it. I sent DD with her own camera and she took some great pics. I am in the process of trying to upload them and I will be happy to send you a linkto them if you would like.

I would love to see pics...just want to get an idea of what it looks like..do you think it would be possible for me to take a few pics before the party begins..my oldest DD will be 6 and not sure if she would be able to take nice pics..thanks!

Parents were allowed to walk their children into the dining room to find a seat and then the hostesses sent us on our way!! The kids all got a seat and we took a couple of pics.......then they had to wave goodbye! The tables were completely decorated with confetti, streamers, food and beverages and flowers. It looked like so much fun!

I wasn't worried about DD at all, as she does really well with people she doesn't know. There were some kids who were a bit apprehensive about being left, but when we picked them up all of them seemed to be smiling!!!

I took the hour to shop(I got a cute Easter basket made at the shop upstairs) and then I strolled around the grounds and had a super yummy cocktail at the pool bar.

My DD truly had the most fantastic time ever and she was so excited to take her own camera! Even if you send your DD with one of those disposable cameras she will get good shots. ONe of the hostesses took my DD's camera and got some cute pics of her and Alice and the Mad Hatter. I am still trying to upload everything:scared: how many photos can I take?!?....I think the Tea Party pics are next. I'll send you a link as soon as they are up.

I really would send her, my DD also dressed up in an Alice dress that she bought there with her own money. It was so cute that I told her she was going to have to wear it for Halloween!

DD went to the tea party a few years ago and loved it. She said the Mad Hatter was great. When I went to pick her up, she had a polariod pic in a nice folder of her with Alice and the Mad Hatter and a couple of crafts to do at home. For us, it was worth the price.

There is a link in my signature to my TR from last yer (plus pretrip report for this year)...Anyhow it has pics of Wonderland Tea party and some explanation of it on either page 3 or page 4 if you wan to check them out. My DD LOVED this by the way!!! Very professional but fun for the kids. You sign your kid in and they give you a pager....hehe some trade lol!! But I felt very safe with my DD being there, the time she was there was wonderful for me and DH to have together alone! We went and had desert in the grand Floridian Cafe and walked around and talked, DD loved it, we loved the little bit of time alone together, it was great!
