Alice in Wonderland Easter Basket Buffet

Our Reservation is at 10:45am too!!!!

I wish I could dress like Alice :rotfl:

They have the best "Alice" at DL, too! I hope she is the one that will be there! The Mad Hatter she works with and her are so fun! You said you have gone in years past-I was telling the kids there will be waffles. Do you remember if they were Mickey waffles? Of course, that could change, I know! Ever since they changed the chicken at the parks from Mickey chicken, they don't like it anymore! :sad2:

I don't eat waffles at restaurants (I am weird like that :rotfl: ) so I am not 100% sure that they were Mickey heads but they do have waffles. I wish I could remember.

I do remember that the Alice and Mad Hatter were AMAZING!!! I believe it was my most favorite Alice. But that one probably isn't still there since Alice is a very short career. But I think that DL has the best Alice's I have never seen a bad one. What a few character to be!

I didn't know it was a short career! I could of swore we've seen the same one for awhile now-maybe all the Alice's are just "that" good! :cool1: The reason I mentioned it is because I have been disappointed in the Alice's we have seen at WDW. They are just not the same!

From talking to character actors and other CM's, Alice is a short stint because once a girl begins to look to "old" she is removed from the part. Most Alice's are the youngest of the Face actors. Most of the girls playing Alice are under 19.

DLR from what I have seen and heard is very picky about their face actors. They have to adhere to a certain look, size, height, age and personality for their parts. While WDW has similar rules, it seems like they tend to have slightly older actors for their parts. That and of course more actors come to California then Florida so DLR probably has a bigger pot to cast from.

I always wanted to be Alice but I am too tall and old :rotfl: I live vicariously through my friend who was Snow White and another who was Ariel.

You're right about how picky DLR is about their face characters. My daughter auditioned for Snow White, but they wouldn't even look at her because she was about an inch under the height requirement. They actually measured the people right there.

Yeah they are tough! My sisters friend is a costumed character because as much as she has tried she was told her face is "too round" to be a face character.

But with the amount of people who audition like I said they can be this picky. And as tough as it is for those who try out and don't make it, their pickyness sure shows in their characters.
