DS8 gets a regular appetizer portion of fettucini alfredo for his entree instead of a kids meal.
We don't do salads/apps here but do get dessert. As for sharing, I think it really depends on how big of an appetite each of you has & how much bread/salad/extras you like to eat.
Gina, you are correct! Any time you ask for opinions you will have a core of people who love something and others who can't stand it! That's why I always say: if the menu appeals to you, give it a try...never mind what other people say!
My family ate here in Dec 2005.
My husband and I LOVED it. Our 8year old did not.
The Fettucini Alfredo is Authentic...it is rich and wonderful, but at first bite we were taken aback. It is nothing like what we usually eat for Alfredo sauce...but then after a few more bites, we knew that no Alfredo will ever measure up now. This is the place (well, the one in Italy) is the one who originated Fettucini Alfredo....at least that is what I have been told.
Our son, all of 8, was upset that he did not like the Alfredo beacuse that is one of his faves at home....but the one he typically has at home are those Lipton Noodle packets you get in the store...
We did not think the portion we had of Alfredo was huge...kind of normal, esp if you don't fill up on the other things.
The fettucine is so good I wouldn't share it It has butter and cheese, but no white creamy sauce like the Americanized version. It is so simple, yet is so flavorful
