Alex and Ani.. Slowest shipping ever

I tried to avoid as many stores as possible this year. I Ordered from Alex and Ani on 12/9, and as of today my item hasn't even shipped yet! No email updates or back order notices. Nothing!

The CS rep I spoke to told me they ship in 2-10 business days and that yesterday was 8 business days, but it is guaranteed by Christmas.

I will be pissed if it is not here by Tuesday!!!

I ordered on December 2nd and finally received the order on December 17th. It took 10 business days plus an extra Saturday before I got a shipping confirmation. Don't bother to call CD...it just rings and rings. I did get a standard response from a fb message I sent,although it wasn't a helpful response. Good luck.

Same story here. I ordered on 12/3 (after trying to order on 12/2 with a discount code but the website was not working!) and finally received my order on 12/18. Absurd.

There's a message as soon as you get to the site, to the effect of "Due to the handmade nature of our products, orders placed now won't arrive by 12/24". So it appears it's the products that cause the delay.

Also, this is on the Shipping and Returns page:
"When will my order arrive?

Orders processing time is between 2-10 business days given the handmade nature of the product. Alex and Ani ships all packages via UPS ground delivery out of Rhode Island.

Once an order is shipped, it can take 1-5 business days to arrive (depending on where in the country you are located)."

My friend and DD are in the same situation. My friend got fed up and took the to FB page a few days ago after not being able to get through to CS. They got right back to her. My DD just received a tracking number yesterday.

I ordered from Reeds jewelers and got my order in two days! The AA site didn't have the bracelet I wanted in gold so I guess that was lucky for me.

If you are in a pinch, I was at my local BJ's Wholesale yesterday and they have AA bracelets for $20!! Quite a selection on the floor and then the CS guy showed me about 100 more they had in stock. They had most of the local MLB and NFL teams, astrological signs, initials, Armenian cross, and various others. Definitely check it out.

I ordered from Reeds jewelers and got my order in two days! The AA site didn't have the bracelet I wanted in gold so I guess that was lucky for me.

The only reason I ordered from the site is because my friend gave my girls an A&A electronic gift card for their birthday. The gift card was only for use online, not in the store, so I figured I would just order my Christmas items with their gifts to save a trip.

I messaged through FB and got a message that they will be in by Christmas Eve, and a 15% discount and free shipping for my next order.

I placed my order o 12/9 and it still has not shipped. I was able to speak to someone today (CS is normally closed on weekends) and I was told that it will ship monday via UPS next day air saver and it could take till late evening to reach me SMH. I have a party to be at by 4.........this is unacceptable!

I agree that they are very slow shipping. I ordered a bracelet that I have not been able to find in any stores that showed it was back in stock from them on November 29th. I got an email that it shipped on December 12th and it finally arrived on December 16th.

A few days ago I got another email from them offering a 25$ e-giftcard with the message "To honor your patience for being part of our record shattering holiday season with online orders, we want to say THANK YOU in a grateful and meaningful way." I'll order again, but not when I am in a hurry.
