I was on ebay looking at Disney items--and I put a bid in on one day passes (not really needing them-but if they were cheap enough-worth a shot just in case we wanted to go in Nov. while visiting family)--Anyways--I get an email from someone saying they saw I was looking for tickets--to email back (but not as a response and gave me their email) so I emailed to see what they offered and here is a copy:

These tickets are 7 day park hopper plus tickets for WDW in Florida. Each ticket is brand new unused and NEVER EXPIRE . Each gives 7 day admission into all the following parks : ANIMAL KINGDOM , MAGIC KINGDOM , EPCOT , and M.G.M studios . Plus 4 days into the disney water parks , plus 1 day into disney guest , a total of 12 days on each ticket .The tickets also have the FASTPASS option , so no long queues . The price for each is $150 , tell me how many do you need.

SO--Im thinking--this person isnt right--so I asked for references--and they said: My user id is your-photos

So--what do you all think? How can I report this to Ebay--or should I not even worry about it? There is no way Im going to buy those tickets---I already have mine for the upcoming trip--but this person seems strange--and to email me before an auction ends is against ebay rules.

anyone else deal w/ this?

Sounds like this tickets are "hot!"

Those kind of tickets would be selling for over $300 and they are selling them for $150???

I completely agree, SOMETHING is not right!

I looked up his feedback on Ebay--and there is only 1 and it wasnt for any item--the person who left the feedback--left it on June 5th--but is now a no longer registered user. So something isnt right and Im going to alert ebay--I just hope this isnt some psycho guy--cuz cant he request my info and get my address or is that if you are bidding on an item only>?

My user id is your-photos

I looked at this persons feedback, over 300, mostly positive. There are comments about not buying tickets from his id, as someone is using his user name. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!

Please forward that on to Ebay. What that person did is against Ebay policy. There is a place to "contact us" Forward the email to them. They will take care of it.

Ok--the user ID that is listed under his email was something different and so I havent a clue what is going on.

Something weird happened to me when I was selling my old Nike shoes, right before the auction ended someone emailed me from Ireland and offered me 70.00 for the shoes if I would sell to them and not the high bidder. I refused of course, but wondered why they just wouldn't bid on them??? They only sold for 18.00! Ebay is scary sometimes!! Sorry didn't mean to change the subject. Wow if only they were legit tix!! Doesn't sound like it though.

I emailed the user name of the person who he was using--and yes-this person has been using his name for feedback--i guess the person obtained my email from ebay w/ his original user name-and its the one w/ only 1 feedback and neither the feedback person or the one who was selling are registered users. So just beware for anyone who wants to buy tickets on ebay!

People shouldn't buy ANY Disney tickets off eBay to begin with. Disney tickets are non transferrable and you have no way of knowing if they are legit.

I cant find one day passes anywhere---(we already have our 4 day passes) adn we are going to visit family in Nov. so we thought we would get passes and head over for the day to have some alone time. Cant find one day passes anywhere--so was willing to take the chance and w/ how cheap they were--doesnt matter if they worked or not--however--the lady I was bidding from had over 1000 in feedback--all postives--and everyone said their tix worked fine--so I felt comfortable w/ it.

Don't feel bad, I would do the same thing. I know Disney has their rules, but their rules are for the benefit of their wallet, not mine. And for those about to flame, look at it this way; If your sister gave you her unused ticket because she couldn't use it, would you say "no thanks, that is against Disney policy"? Now, I know buying off Ebay isn't the same as getting something from someone you know, but if you are aware of your risks and willing to take them, there is no harm, IMO.

You can get 1 day passes at disneyworld.com

When I asked about them-they acted like there was no "presale" on them--that I had to purchase from the gate.

But hey--I dont see the big deal--if I wanted to lose out the $$--than its my lose. noone elses--Ive known people who bought tix there before and they worked just fine---I didnt buy my tix through them--I went through work and got a better deal on 4 days than I would have on just 2 and we have can now go to the parks all 4 days if we want.

But I will add--my friend is buying her tix through ebay--its the only way she can take her family being a single mom--

$150 for 7-day hoppers??? Can you say, "Danger, Will Robinson...???" LOL!! I would feel sorry though for anyone who was scammed with this. I would definitely report to Ebay.
