Ale & Compass or Garden Grove

Has anyone eaten breakfast at the new Ale & Compass or at Garden Grove in the Swan ?
I just saw a utube video of a man who got sick after lunch at Ale @ Compass and wondered if it was a fluke.
Also I saw the Garden Grove had mixed reviews and was looking for help.
Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

My son and I had breakfast at Ale & Compass a few weeks ago. He had the smoked salmon, and I had the protein bowl with the tofu scramble. Both were tasty, and the portions were generous (especially the protein bowl).

We also had a lunch ADR there. We enjoyed it so much, we made a second ADR for later in our trip. We recommend the bacon cheeseburger and the vegan "bacon cheeseburger."

So that's a total of six plates, no sickness.

Hahaha! I saw that - Tim Tracker at Yacht Club. He ate the quinoa bowl with protein, if you aren't used to that much fiber it can give you an upset stomach. Love Tim Tracker videos!

We also ate there for lunch during our trip last week. No issues with getting sick and I have been told by everyone that we need to go back next trip.

We started out with the Parker House rolls and they disappeared so quick I wasn't sure they brought them. Try the beer cheese spread its awesome.

Kids each had the Vermont cheddar burger and made quick work of them, the wife had the Guyere cheese and mushroom burger and could not stop raving about it(kinda of annoying since I never get kudos like that when I make burgers at home). She also loved the fact that the fries were steak house fries and not the generic Disney Fries. I had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich and it was pretty tasty esp. the Cranberry Relish. The home made chips it came with were okay but I would choose a different side next time.

Another couple of things that were nice, it was quiet and uncrowded just like Captain's Grille used to be. It was probably the cheapest sit meal that we had but one of the best.

I’ve not tried Garden Grove but have been to Ale & Compass 4x- twice breakfast and twice lunch - and really enjoy it. For breakfast I’ve had the omelette and for lunch the burger is amazing! I typically stay in the Epcot resort area ... if staying elsewhere not sure I’d make a special trip ... but otherwise wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will certainly return myself.
