Ale & Compass breakfast ADR- keep it or cancel it?

DW and I have enjoyed breakfast at Captain's Grille in the past. We made ADR's for A&C on the Saturday of the Dark Side 10k. Now, we're not sure if we want to keep the ADR, or just drop it and grab room service or a QSL that morning. Anybody had breakfast at Ale & Compass in the past 2 months?

We've read several reviews on the DIS, and they made A&C seem 'meh'

The Adventures of Peas and Carrots has a review of Ale and Compass breakfast on their YouTube Channel that's very detailed. They have some dietary restrictions but in general I think they were kind of "meh" about it too.

I havent been since it changed over, but if you are staying at YC/BC, I would keep it. Love sleeping a little later and having breakfast at the resort Im staying at. If its anything like Captains Grill, I wouldnt make a special trip over there. It was good, but not out of this world.

My husband and I ate there in February. We both thought it was good, but nothing special. It was very convenient for us as we were staying at the Yacht Club.

I ate there ~3 months ago for breakfast, really liked it, and would definitely return. Now, I rarely find breakfast to be a "revelation" but the omelet I had (plus potato hash and thick-cut toast) was terrific.

We ate breakfast there about 2 weeks ago and I loved it. I loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. Definitely one of the better TS breakfasts I've had in WDW. That being said, I wouldn't go out of my way for it. If we stay at YC/BC again, we will go back.

I just ate there about two weeks ago as well and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. I had the blueberry-bacon pancakes and they were delicious! I am definitely booking another breakfast here on my future YC trip!
