Ale and Compass-Pleasant Surprise

I always enjoy reading other threads and seeing what folks think of various restaurants. Fair or unfair, I’ve always just associated Ale and Compass as kinda meh based upon what I’ve seen. However, for this trip, I needed a lunch outside the park around the Epcot area. Ale and Compass fit the bill.

Perhaps because I had low expectations, I very much enjoyed my crab bisque and my Vermont Cheese burger immensely more than I anticipated. If something on the menu looks good to anyone perusing for an upcoming trip, I’d encourage you to give it a try!

Their breakfast is very good indeed, we think.

It's particularly so for me, gluten and dairy intolerant. Their chefs have always done a wonderful job advising me and modifying dishes where possible.

I think that's my favorite burger on property right now! So good. Also love their breakfast with the hybrid a la carte and buffet option (you pick an entree and can add a buffet option with various sides like fruit, pastries etc.). I think A&C is a hidden gem!!

Ale & Compass is a must-do for us when staying at BWV. Also, had the burger and crab cake in May and they were both very good. The restaurant has much improved after the renovation IMO. I also hear their breakfast is recommended.
