ALDI Grocery Store near?

Hi everyone. We will be visiting DVC this summer and are very excited. This is our first time in a DVC--New Members--and have always had a regular hotel room and purchased meals.

Because of having the kitchen area in the one bedroom, we are planning on fixing most meals there. We shop at Aldi's here in Ohio. I googled Aldis in Florida and there are several in the Orlando area. Does anyone know how far away they are from WDW and how long it would take timewise with traffic to get there?

How long timewise would be Superwalmart or another grocery store?

We always shop at Aldi at home but feel they are just too far away from Disney to shop there in Fla. We go to walmart for what ever we need. I personally can't stand how aldi throws the food in the shopping cart when checking out. So i have started to shop at Bottom Dollar. Some items are cheaper there (soda, bread, cheap chicken bologna and hotdogs and so on). Plus they are friendly... I now buy about half of my items at BD. Unfortunately, no BDs in Kiss or Orlando but it is a new chain (part of Food Lion) so hopefully they will build a store there soon. If you are beer people, take it with you. Last time i could not find anything other then lite beer unless i waned to spend the money for an expensive brand (i.e. rolling rock, st pauly girl)

If you are new to DVC you will like it. Before our membership we were guests and it felt like we were guests i.e. not really comfortable... But now we own (at BLT) we do actually feel we are home and feel more apart of DW. It has changed the whole way we feel about DW. Have a good time, don't over pack, remember you have a washer and dryer in your room.
