Alcoholic Beverages on the Boardwalk??

Is there a place to buy an alcoholic beverage and sit or stroll along the Boardwalk??

The Pizza Window sells sangria, and during the holiday season there were outdoor vendors selling alcoholic beverages, I do not know if they are still there. However, I don't think you can get takeout alcoholic beverages from the restaurants. I bet the ESPN bar will do a drink in a plastic cup, as I'm sure you can't carry glass around the Boardwalk. But for some reason I do not think you can take alcoholic drinks out of the restaurants and walk around with them.

There is public seating on the Boardwalk itself - benches, and some tables and chairs outside the bakery and the pizza window. There is also an outdoor patio at Big River Grill.

We have a priority seating at Big River Grille for our party of 13 next week but I was looking to meet up earlier and have a drink outside since our reservation isn't until 7:30pm.

I am not sure what time they close but the Luna Park pool bar sells Beer in cans and etc.

I would get a drink from ESPN Club in a to-go cup.

You can get drinks to go at the Belle Vue Lounge. They'll give you your cocktail in a plastic cup and send you on your merry way. I'm sure the pool bar does the same.

If you want to sit on their patio at Big River they won't have a problem with that but I don't think it is for waiting. I think it is for sitting and eating and I don't know if they can seat a party of 13 out there - it's a small patio. You can go in, and ask at the bar if they will put beer in a plastic cup so you can walk around with it. I don't recall seeing anyone actually walking around with beer from Big River so I can't say yes, they'll do it.

They now sell a few drinks also at the Coffee shop on the Boardwalk. We were just there. This is an outdated menu, but it gives you an idea. It's the easiest way to get a drink on the Boardwalk besides the Pizza window.

Luna pool closes at dusk. Last time we were there Nov. 4:30ish. Bellevue opens at 5pm and they have a few tables outside. Not on boardwalk level, upstairs. ESPN, Crews Cup, HH pool bar and the lobby lounge at YC, Marthas Vineyard at BC all will give you a to go cup. We will walk out the back door of EPCOT and hit a couple of these places on our way to BWI. You won't have any problems finding a drink at the boardwalk. Probably why it is one of my favorite places!

There's also the Cabana Bar at the Dolphin. It's just a stone's throw away from Big River and is a great place for an outdoor drink (and an appetizer, if you're so inclined).

The last time we were in WDW my parent and DH were sharing a pitcher of beer at ESPN. My sister and stepped out to pick something up at the store at the BW and we came out of the store to find my DH and mom holding plastic beer cups. After seeing us leave our server asked if they would like the rest of their pitcher "to go"

You can also go to the Screen Door and purchase a single drink there and then enjoy it as you stroll the boardwalk.

Boardwalk Joe's, the coffee cart on Disney's BoardWalk, has added margaritas, pretzels, glazed nuts and more to its menu. I saw this online this morning. I also saw the margs and nuts when we were there in late January early February.

There is also Hurricane Hanna's at Stormalong Bay at YC/BC. Oh, the beverages we can consume at the good 'ol BW!
