Alcoholic beverages at Resorts

I was just wondering if anyone knew the cheapest way to get alcohol to the resorts. We are flying in and dont have a rental vehicle. If I recall properly, its quiet costly to get it right from the resort. Is there any kind of delivery and if so how much is it?? Any suggestions would be awesome....TIA!!!

I had beer and wine delivered using wegoshop.com (As well as water soda and other groceries...) Very reliable and prompt service. I had my items purchased from Publix. Although, they will shop at any store you request....

You can take the bus to DTD and walk across the street to the Hess station. I have been told that they have a very good selection and the prices are OK. We will be trying this option out this year.

Good suggestions here! I've always thought guests should split cab fare and go to a grocery or liquor store. If you're having more than a minimal amount it would become cost effective pretty quickly.

Hess is fine for snacks and beer but they don't sell wine and hard liquor.
We packed a bottle of rum and a bottle of vodka in our luggage. We fly southwest and have had no problems.
We purchased wine at DTD from the Mickey kitchen store and at the French Pavillion in epcot.(quite reasonably priced)
This year I have already purchased some 3 glass cartons (French Rabbit) to pack in my luggage...I also pack cheap wineglasses (that I leave at the resort) and a pocket corkscrew.
We go for 15 days and do purchase cocktails and wine with dinner but not every meal. A bottle of wine at a TS restaurant costs from $58 and up.
We usually have cheese and wine or a drink in our resort room before going out for dinner.
